Everything was excellent about the property and it is a fantastic value.

The room was extremely cozy with a lovely roomy bathroom. We especially loved the outdoor kitchen. Additionally, the whole house was spotless.

This is my favourite place to stay in Port Antonio, the room is perfect with every amenity you could need. Super clean and some lovely personal touches. Marie and family are lovely hosts. Great location and I love there are some cooking facilities too.

I was so happy with everything here. Marie and her family is super friendly and we had nice chats. Location is safe and perfect for walking in the town area and to catch a transport. There is all you need in this modern room and for preparing meals in the outdoor kitchen. Knutsford bus terminal is around 20 minutes walking distance by foot but also route taxis are available. I would definitely stay again!

The room had everything provided needed for a nice and comfortable stay. The host was super friendly and hospitable making sure everything was ok. We had an issue with the rental car and she helped us out a lot. The outdoor kitchen is perfect to cook meals and the location is ideal to explore the nearby beaches. The room was spacious and super clean.

Cash paymeny only, in JMD or USD which is understandable. The bed was a normal sized double and to us rather small.

Very nice room at the back of a private house with a separate entrance. Location is in a sidestreet of the main road, so walking distance to supermarket and shops, .... Marie is extremely helpful and also forwarded a local guidebook. She also arranged a taxi to bring us to Knutsford bus early in the morning and woke up to say goodbye to us ! In the room you have a kettle , fridge and toaster. Outside there is a gas stove and sitting area. Very nicely done ! Moreover, the bathroom is ecellent with very nice towels and walk in shower. Another bonus is Netflix if you would need it.

I liked EVERYTHING!

Ms Marie is one of the best hosts i've EVER encountered! Her property is the cleanest I've ever stayed at. I love the lil touches of technology, like the touch-free soap dispenser for your hands. The artwork on the wall makes it feel homely. The room consists of several things including a fridge, mini oven, desk, a bag containing beach towels, kettle, cutlery, spare towels /bedsheets, & more. The location is a walking distance to most things, or a taxi service. Ms Marie kindly dropped me off to Frenchman's cove, as it was on the route to her work. I really appreciated such a kind gesture, and I loved how she shared some history about Port Antonio, with me. She also created a list of things to see/eat which came in really handy! It rained quite a bit while I was there, so the TV which has useful apps such as Netflix & YouTube, came in very handy! Did I mention HOW CLEAN THIS PLACE IS??? Honestly, I am absolutely going to be back here soon (hopefully there will be less rain when I do!)

We had a fantastic stay at Centrally Located. Marie showed us all the facilities which included air conditioning, Flat Screen Smart TV, outdoor cooking facilities & a fully tiled bathroom. The room was spotless & the house only recently been built, so very modern. We made use of the outdoor cooking facilities which had everything we needed. Marie also gave us great advice on things to see & made us feel very welcome while also giving us plenty of space. Marie was also very communicative before we arrived answering all our questions. Thanks Marie, we really appreciated it!! I would absolutely recommend staying here. Look no further!!!

Rose Marie was an amazing host. She made a guide book with tips about things to see, where to eat which we appreciated a lot. The room was clean, and the little kitchen in the garden was perfect to have breakfast in the morning or a tea at night.

Nice space, super nice hosted by Marie and her lovely family. Portland is the nature parish, so there's a lot of nature to explore. The place is located very central so most of the town is basically within walking distance and route taxis will take you further out of town if needed. Would definitely recommend to book this place when you vist Portland.

Maybe our favourite stay in Jamaica. I was as happy to arrive back to the room every night as I was at the resort. Super friendly owner, helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very modern. Room was provisioned with fridge and toaster oven as well, which is not typical but very welcomed! We were able to have our breakfast in the room quick so we could have full days exploring. Great location, away from the bustle but very close. Well equipped room and the outdoor cooking area was a great place to eat all our meals. Even the decor is fun, I am not an anime guy, and I don't understand the design aesthetic but it was worth a laugh. Owners pets also made appearances outside and were friendly and cute.

All perfect

A lovely self contained private room in Port Antonio hosted by Marie. The room is very comfortable with a modern bathroom and is far more impressive in reality than the photos on booking.com. It has its own rear entrance with outside cooking facilities and patio. Marie and her family were very helpful and friendly even offering us a lift to Frenchman's Cove. The room and bathroom were absolutely spotless. Very close to the main town and the transport centre (Texaco garage) Highly recommended

It was a perfect stay and just 2 little things could be improved.They are building the outdoor area where you can sit and cook but it wasn't finished when we went there. We had our dirty shoes outside but there is nothing to protect them from the rain so they got wet over night (our fault to be honest).

This was by far the best homestay-room we ever went to. It had everything you need and much more then we expected (AC, beautiful bathroom, fridge, TV, moskitonets etc etc.) It's 5 min walk to the city center and has everything nearby. Our Host was so friendly and helpful. For this price it was like a 4,5 star hotel room 😁

This is a wonderful place to stay in Port Antonio. The location is superb, the waterfront and all the amenities of the town are within walking distance. Marie and her family were excellent hosts who provided the perfect balance of maintaining our privacy whilst always being happy to help. The room itself is spotlessly clean and well equipped. There wasn't much to do in the town. No really good places to eat.

Very clean, modern and well presented. The host was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place as a base for touring the attractions in Portland.

Let me start by mentioning how Great the staff was. Marie and her daughter were both very accommodating and welcoming. We got there later than anticipated, but ofcourse! Miss Marie waited diligently. We got a swift tour of our private area which was really clean and inviting. I also like that they were there, but not there. Privacy was maintained. The bathroom was prestine, outdoor is peaceful along with everything that you would need is there. Did I mention that I also made a friend 🐶. She's the sweetest Definitely going back!

Mary our host was probably the most friendly and kind person we met during our trip through Jamaica. The room is awesome. It has everything you need even a open air kitchen and space with a table where you can eat outside. Everything comfortable and super clean. Highly recommended. The location is perfect. It also has parking spot.
