Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JamaicaI went to the grill area joined the line, he ignored me and continue to serve others who came after. I then asked for fish. He answered flatly, " no fish available " following day i went back. He accused me of cutting the line.
The staff were very courteous eccept for one young man at the grill.

United StatesWhile the food was good, I feel there could have been a greater variety, especially with more cultural options that reflect Jamaica. The entertainment was enjoyable, but I would have liked to see more Jamaican-style performances. Additionally, the advertisement for events and activities could be improved. We experienced a problem with the water; it was cold, and when we called for assistance, no one responded. We ended up having to go to the front desk at least twice before someone came to fix it. Furthermore, we received certificates for a spa treatment, but unfortunately, the spa was closed for repairs due to a flood. We encountered several challenges trying to get replacements for those unusable certificates.
There was good food, enjoyable activities, and a pleasant resort atmosphere. The location was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable. Overall, the atmosphere was great.

United StatesLots of noise all the time. Basics were provided, rooms were cleaned but not always consistent on the number of towels, supplies, etc. Didn’t like the constant ‘attention’ from people trying to ‘sell’ something. Taxis were way overpriced ($80 to go five mins up the road)
All inclusive with everything needed for your stay. Food and drinks was good, spa was very good, excursions were fun (a little disorganized, but fun) golf was great At Cinnamon Hill (be aware of dress code though)

JamaicaThe food at the restaurants was well prepared and seasoned, but the food at the buffets were not so good. The staff were extremely pleasant and ready to help. The rooms could use some upgrading, found stains on the ceiling and the bathroom mirror was rusting. The bathroom was also quite small. But overall pleasant stay, good value for your money

United StatesNo grounds. Nowhere to walk. Hardly any green area. Very small piece of property. Very noisy in the pool area most of the day. No deep water for swimming. No Hobby Cats available as promised. Very restricted area for supposed kayaking promised. Adjancent property beaches walled off so no beach walking.
The 3 restaurants were very nice. They made up for a very moderate buffet. The island saves the qwhole experience. It is wonderful.

United StatesThe drinks served were watery and not very good. There was one drink that was good to me from the handful that I tried which was the mojito. We checked in the Wednesday and there was no hot water, we alerted guest services and the matter was not addressed until Friday morning, so we were essentially without hot water for two days. This was a huge inconvenience for us, as we had been traveling overnight, left our house midday the Tuesday and was not able to get a good shower until three days later when we finally had hot water. Also while we were staying, we came back to our room flooded from the air conditioning unit. We had to use towels to try to contain the water on the floor, however staff came immediately to address the matter once they were informed. Standing in the line at the bar by the pool, I got stung by a bee. There were a number of bees around the bar area, obviously because of the sweet syrupy drinks being served …I was disappointed that I did not get any help with the bee sting, especially given that I was standing in the line at their bar when I got bitten, no fault of my own.
Staff were friendly, empathetic and kind. They were attentive to our needs and ensured that we were involved in the activities offered. Food was good overall, especially the Jamaican food offered each day at the main restaurant. The main restaurant had the best food, in my opinion and very wonderful and efficient staff. Loved the pool and the island/ beach.

Jamaica- Key cards were infuriating! Told at the start you CANNOT have anywhere near your phone or other cards as it wipes them (you carry phone and wallet together normally in pickets or bags) we'd get to our room which was quite a trek from the main building anf discover the key card did not work so we'd have to go back, often holding sleeping children or sweating from the heat. We ended up resetting the card every time we passed reception just in case and reception said it's happening constantly. The system is poor. - Only 6 Umbrellas in the whole outdoor pool area which were always hogged and no other shade available outside if you want to lay hy the pool. - WiFi was very weak and didn't work in our suite. - Change money service advertised i's simply the offer to change large US dollar bills to 1's for tipping so don't rely on it. - Ice cream hut was disappointing, was more like slushy in a cone. Could benefit from proper ice cream or lollies, even offering some frozen deserts with the buffet in a chest freezer. - The kids play area was disappointing, one swingset in direct sunlight. (Often occupied by adults posing for Instagram). - Bathroom was spacious and had everything we needed. Not sure if it was in need of rennovation or had just been done badly. - Room furniture was pretty old. One tv unit had no doors and 1 drawer. - cats all over the hotel grounds including the main buffet restaurant, but this is open to the outside. - phone in room did not work to contact reception. - Beds were small for doubles. - Sofabed was dirty and old.
We went all inclusive and the variety of food was good. Availability of food throughout the day was very good allthough a bit 'samey'. Drinks were good, cocktails lovely! The pool and beach location was stunning. Beach towels included very handy. Pedlo & kayak included was very nice also. Serving staff were friendly. Bell hop was very friendly, helpful and informative. Room cleaning service was thorough. Despite our concern from reading other reviews, there were plenty of towels in the room for our family of 4 and these were replaced daily. We feel we got what we paid for at peak time, off peak perhaps even better value for money. We didn't make use of the many tour offers in reception, but good for those interested to see the sites and perhaps not confident to venture it independently. Nice little shops on site for bits you forgot or souvenirs (hotel isn't so close to town) If you like cats there were plenty all over the hotel grounds. - mini fridge in room was nice to keep drinks cool and the complimentary water and drinks was appreciated. - Beds comfortable, but small. - Suite was huge and balconies were good size.

United StatesWifi was terrible. Cats were everywhere, sometimes they jumped on your food. We like to go for walks but we could not do it outside the hotel because of the freeway and the beach was fenced off. The room was spacious but the bathroom was very small. The fan in the bathroom was connected to the neighbor so you can hear everything,
Food was very good. Difference restaurants, Italian, Japanese and Jamaican The entertainment every night. Staff was very friendly and prompt to help you.

United Arab EmiratesTHE INTERNET was trash! It was shocking how bad it was in the room and by the pool. We have businesses and found it very difficult to keep on top of things. The lack of umbrellas around the pool was frustrating as was the inability to erect them when it was windy and the sun was bright as ever. I also didn’t like the attitude of some staff members, whilst the majority were polite, the few that weren’t stood out; namely the lady at the pool bar, sooooo rude! Would serve others before serving me. Think she prefers white people more than black people. Shout out to the kids club staff, Irene and her crew are awesome-loved all of them. I wish the hotel highlighted this service at check in so they’re promoted in a better way. The buffet menu became too repetitive after a while. 2 weeks stay and patties only once? What in the Jamaica is this? Perhaps limit the food choices so you can have different options on different days - Chinese night, Italian night, Indian night - all with a Caribbean twist.
I loved the location of the hotel and its all inclusive facilities. The beach and the island were great too. The evening entertainment were top class as was the afternoon games by the pool. Big up Fitzroy, our waiter at Belovd restaurant, he was awesome. A special thanks to Joan, for providing us with information about the hotel that we should have known prior to meeting her but we didn’t.

They upgraded my room from garden view to ocean view and it was the best scenery, because the ocean is my peace. The staff are nice and the buffet style looks good as well as the food.
