When you go to this place you see the REAL jamaica ! No social media things, no all inclusive things but juste real life with real and beatifull people. From all the country's i visited it was one of the most beautifull experience of my live ! The entiere community became like a big family ! Respect, love, and friendship us how i would resume my hollyday. Once you go to this community in jamaica with this lovely host, you will feel at home like nowhere else ! Every body should try this !

It was a room in someone's house which wasn't expected. I was expecting a private everything. Just wasn't what I expected. People were very nice but wasn't as private of a setting as I always get.

It's a bit far from downtown but with a taxi about 10 minutes or 30 min walk. Bathroom is outside the room.

Very friendly host with a lot of good tips. The room is inside the house of the host and small but has everything you need (AC, fridge, microwave, towels). It has a very nice garden with access to the river where you can sit and chill. There is a supermarket (10-15 min walk) away. They also offer transportation to and from the airport for a reasonable price. We would recommend this room and come again for our stay in Montego Bay

The bedroom needs a decent lighting option.

If you want to experience an authentic Jamaican home with fabulous colour then this is a supreme choice. You will stay in the home of host Cardella and her children. The location is a $20USD trip from the airport - one way - and the Knutsford bus to elsewhere also leaves from the airport when you leave. The home was very clean and the bed was very comfortable with pristine sheets. The room had both a fan and aircon. The shower didn't have hot water, but you'll be relieved with the naturally lukewarm shower in Montego....trust me. The wifi was fast and realible too. There's also a shallow river nearby surrounded by trees where they do a little cooking in the evening with neighbours and friends.

The colour scheme definitely matched my personality and that added to my stay being adventurous, comfortable and refreshing.

I didn't like that I had to leave.

How can I express my gratitude for the fabulous time I had staying with this lovely family. From the moment I arrived, I became family. Cardella the owner of the home, was kind, loving, and took care of me. She ensured that I was not lost, since I chose to drive by myself. She took me site seeing all about town, recommended the most fun places to visit, and cooked amazing Jamaican food (including teaching me how). She has darling children that are such a pleasure. They even took me to the night beach which is a family environment. I must have asked her 100 questions which she was always willing to teach me. I met her family and friends who are all so welcoming and friendly. The home is large, very clean, and beautiful. The colorful room, is so comfortable. The air conditioner saved me often. There is always wifi which is amazing since it is an island. Now, about the location, it is living in paradise! Close to anything and everything. There is even a beautiful forest right across the street with a cool stream that you can wade in. Flowers flowers flowers! Amazing to say the least. Cardella took me to the stream teaching me about each fruit tree, and there are many, and the medicinal uses for each one. This visit was so much more than a simple vacation. I am a renewed and changed person in so many ways.
