You can see straight into the rooms from outside, through the windows. You need to close the blinds to change (which then blocks out the light). The balcony is communal so if you want to sit ‘outside’, there is no privacy.

It is a cute small property, right on the beach. Rooms are large.

Beds were a bit hard for my preference but my other family members were ok with it and the food was expensive and very small portions. Breakfast included if requested and payed for however I thought it was included in the price once booked.

Very close to the beach. And the rooms were clean and comfortable with both AC and Fan.

Our room was very comfortable and spacious but no fridge in the room to keep anything cool. We didn’t follow up with property as thought it was standard but then did see inside rooms on either side on changeover days and they both had fridges. We were leaving the next day so didn’t say anything but with the heat a fridge is necessary in every room.

Direct access to the beach with available sun beds and umbrellas

More food options on the menu would have been good, although the chef did accommodate some requests in advance when asked.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location on the beach was amazing.

There was a lack of space to hang clothes/towels to dry and we were not made aware of the laundry service until our last day. The towels and coffee in our room were not always replaced every day. We were unsure about what time breakfast and dinner started and felt like we had to ask for a lot of things to clarify. The taxi driver the hotel used was late on every occasion we requested a taxi and didn't show up when we needed to catch a coach to the airport on our last day.

The staff, especially the lifeguards and restaurant staff were amazing. They provided lots of information and helped us organise boat trips and things. The proximity to the beach which is why we chose it in the first place. It was a very relaxing stay which is exactly what we expected.

Our last few nights the hot water ran out, but that can be expected in island life.

Cozy property away from the hustle of central seven mile beach, but still accessible. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was super friendly and caring.

booking was listed as breakfast included and when I arrived breakfast was not included. Wait time for food is generally long so don't expect to be eat immediately. Kitchen needs time to prepare things which is reasonable. Just not fast service.

parking is very limited, we never had problems but because the hotel was not full on the days of our stay. they have a bar and restaurant and we had the worst breakfast, very poor for the price they charge, so we decided to go to Lily's at skylark which is far better. Because of this we never tried any other food, there are good alternatives on the main road just a few minutes drive with direction Negril

it is on the beach, there are nice wood beds with mattress above, very confortable. The beach is very nice, they clean it daily, there is a life guard in case of need, it is very safe. The room had 2 french beds, there is space, the hotel is just 1 floor and every room looks like a small house. Nets on the windows if, like us, you wish to keep them open to avoid the air conditioning. Room is cleaned daily, with change of towels, and beach towels are available as well. There is a security guard at the entrance

My only disappointment was that the restaurant did not serve ackee during my stay. However, someone in my group purchased a can of ackee at the airport for me because she knew that would complete my to do list for this trip. So it all ended well!

Ms. Elaine was awesome from the time of booking to checkout. She assisted with securing reputable transportation. When we arrived, one of our rooms did not have air conditioning. She moved us to an upgraded room. Her hospitality and professionalism were on point. All of the staff were pleasant. I felt safe at the hotel and will return as a solo traveler. I would definitely recommend the Boardwalk Village for their extreme hospitality, safe environment, and the value and cost.

A couple of kayaks to use would be nice. The restaurant prices are high and to get to other places to eat involves an expensive taxi ride. Water pressure in the room was very weak. Above the bar/restaurant is a great big empty space which would be perfect for a pool table/ping pong table/game area which would be a nice addition.

We had a good stay, and compared to the all-inclusives that surround it, saved $1,000's for the same beach and sea. They have a great huge water trampoline to bounce off of. Everything was very clean and safe. Good air conditioning.

Food was very good. The staff was overall lovely and very friendly and welcoming. The location was a bit distant from some of the "action" in Negril. However, Gart taxi and tours were always available to take us to any destination we desired and they were very helpful and reasonably priced. Comfortable chaisses on the beach and good service by the staff there, as well. Lunch and beverages could be brought to us at the beach.
