The only problem was that my room faced the sun, so I would sometimes wake up from the heat because the fan didn't help, but other than that it was a very good stay

The place was lovely, full of greenery and very pleasant to stay in. The staff was lovely and the stunning Judy really helped me and I would definitely go back.

Nothing to not like.

Rustic, cosy with everything you need. A countryside like feel with the sounds of the animals around. Close to beach and other popular spots.

There was a lot of mosquitoes in our cottage by the end of our stay so we had to sleep completely covered under the sheets. A mosquito net and an electric swatter could be a good addition to the equipment because our sprays were not enough (plus it is quite toxic to use that much).

The hostel is well situated in Negril, close to many restaurants and to the sea and not too far from Seven Mile Beach or the cliffs. We rented bicycles from a shop closeby which allowed us to go around Negril easily. Sue and her team were really nice and quick to answer to our questions. The guesthouse is pretty, with many different places to chill in the garden.

Important: get your mosquito repellent. Once the shower ran out of water, but thank you Sue for all the help and kindness.

We had a lovely stay at Judy house. Finally we met other young travellers and we cooked our first meal ourselves here. It was a pleasure chilling at the garden and we loved the honesty bar.

It is really lovely place in Negril. It is bit long walk to centrum or 7 miles beach but location of judys house is safety. Receptionist was nice. Communication with Sue (owner) was with no problems and she also gave us some useful infos. They booked driver Rita for us for our long trip to pelican bar a blue hole. Rita is the best driver on island. I will miss my morning coffee and sunrising view.

The room is a very narrow board house. One of the walls was a partition with no sound proof and there was a shower on the other side, you could hear everything. Seemed that the cleaning of bathrooms is up to the users. The hostel is situated on a hill, which is far from the main and not convinient at all without a car.

The little board houses are nice and colorful and the kitchens are equipped. Pleasant village atmosphere and friendly staff. It is a very affordable option in a touristic town.

Lovely cabins with everything we could want. Beautiful garden in a lovely location a short walk from the sea. Sue was super friendly and kind...thanks for the lovely day on the beach! We couldn't have been happier and really didn't want to leave!

If you do not like the chickens cockadoodledool and being surrendered by nature then pity but thats what's great about Judy House.....take note make sure you have mosquito spray to spray your room at night.....it's normal...I live in the tropics so I was prepared.

Love Judy Cottage at Judy House Cottages, good wee kitchen....good size room ....very chilled and relaxing. Honesty Supply store which is perfect....i loved the location as I love to walk ....met lots of friendly people everyday....make sure you take yourself to Rasta Ade Vegan beach Bar and Restaurants on 7 Miles Beach .... beautiful spot .

Perhaps that the room is quite small but I was only there was two nights so managed totally fine.

The host Sue was prompt in replying to my messages and arranged for my transport from Negril to the cottage in a short space of time. She was also willing to help me with a package delivery.

There nothing I did not like

the cottages was very lovely and well furnished, there is everything you need I also got the room with AC which is very comfortable . The location was perfect, in a quiet part but very close from the beach of Negril by car. Martel was very lovely ! And Ruth the owner who was not there always available for answering my questions .

There’s nothing I can say that I didn’t really like. It’s exactly what I expected for Jamaica. My expectations, we’re not high as I am an experience traveler, but it did exceed my expectations from my experience in different parts of the world. Oh, there’s one thing that maybe would help other travelers. The accommodations suggest and arrange a ride from the airport as an option thru their connection, which is quite expensive being $60, for a one-way trip from Montego Bay. All I suggest is do your research because you could find your own shuttle via a private shuttle or the bus lines which run quite often for a third of the price.

I like that there is a lot of space on the grounds to have some quiet time if you preferred or if you wanted to interact with other guests, that was an option too. It was a short walk to a restaurant for breakfast or coffee, but the option was there to cook your own meals and prepare your own coffee. There is an on-site canteen where you could make purchases at a very good rate, for example, beer there’s coffee, snacks, simple foods. This place also had good recommendations for food and bike rental etc.

Location and price was ideal for younger people looking for a fun getaway. Open bar was also a huge plus for early breakfasts or late night cravings.
