    Everything was great!

Wonderful property. Very safe and clean. Fabulous staff all around. Walking distance right across the street from the fabulous LTU pub restaurant and Rick‘s famous sunset party spot. Spacious accommodations. The staff was really on top of everything and so kind and helpful.

Great location right opposite ricks cafe. Swimming pool area is beautiful and kids loved swimming in it. Villa was large and comfortable with all amenities that we needed. Stunning cave to the sea and on a calmer water day snorkelling would be amazing (we didn’t snorkel as had young children)

The hot tub was not working, and bathrooms in my two bedroom villa could be updated

Great location, next to Rick's Cafe. The property is beautiful. The private cave next to the water is exceptional and an added bonus. I only spent one night but would stay longer on another trip to Jamaica 🇯🇲

Make sure you bring earplugs if you are sensitiv to noises. It is loud at night not only because of Rick’s cafe but also because of the hammering motorbikes passing by. We found some hair from the previous guests in the shower and on the toilet seat. Floor in the bedroom was not clean when I dropped one of my earplugs.

You have a villa for yourself with a pouch to relax outside. Well equipped kitchen, air condition in the bed room. Pool was nice and staff very friendly.

I recommend that utensils such as pans and spatulas be renewed. It would be a plus if there was at least beverage service by the pool.

We absolutely loved this place. Its beautiful landscape nestled within the forest, the chic pool, functional design, cleanliness of the villa, comfortable rooms and beds, Carmen's attentive assistance at the reception, and the presence of security personnel at all times, etc. All contributed to enhancing our Negril vacation. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The fully equipped kitchen was lacking utensils, pots and pans were well used old. rooms were nice and comfortable but a few cockroaches. fridge doors didn't close tight so lost some food purchased, had to push a chair against the fridge door for it to seal properly as well fridge was in the living room as it was too wide to fit in the area designed in the kitchen. a couple nights there was garbage being burnt that created an acrid smoke that made it unbearable to be pool side and almost the same indoors. had to close all the shutters to try and keep

the staff were very nice and helpful. pool was quiet and clean. rooms were comfortable and the air-conditioning in the bedrooms worked well and made for comfortable sleeps (except for the rooster next door). would be nice if the Villa had a shuttle service for more of a local fee not a tourist fee. seemed every time we wanted to go somewhere it was $20 taxi.

They need to add more ground plants for coverage, so there is not so much dirt in the areas where the trees are. The plumbing could use more work. The shower water pressure and toilet water pressure should be adjusted. Its not strong enough. Toilet kept clogging!

The bathroom was…problematic. There are no doors…none. No matter how comfortable you are w your partner, everyone needs privacy now and again. The water pressure and temperature are absolutely erratic, so don’t expect a calm relaxing shower lol.

Carmen the property manager is excellent and very on top of it. It also feels very safe- there are always attendants at the gate. Location can’t be beat. LTU bar across the street is the best. The cave access is an unbelievable bonus, so special.

The bathroom could take some TLC, specifically the shower and an AC unit could be installed in the living room area of the villa because without the AC, the space is very hot and limits guests to spend most of the time in the bedroom where an AC unit is installed. Other than these two areas that needs improvement, the property is lovely and rustic.

The host and staff are personable, professional and attentive (this includes, the security, office staff and the host Ms. Carmen). Ms. Carmen completed my request to decorate the room for my hubby's birthday, she contacted me and kept me informed about what she was doing. She went above and beyond to reach me and that meant a lot to me. Thank you, Ms. Carmen,

There were a lot of roosters crowing in the morning, one in particular went on from about 4am or so straight through the morning into the day, made it quite hard to sleep for me. Also woke up to the sound of a leaf blower right outside my room. This was just annoying at the time because all I wanted we wanted to do was to sleep in.

Intimate, cozy, great location. Lovely cottages. loved the pool but we were really disappointed about the hot tub was not working. Also, that cave to the cliffs is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, when we were checked in, no one advised us of this so we had no clue it was there or that we had access to that. I think this is definitely a USP for this property and we would have definitely gone there instead of to the beach. We found out when we were checking out and Carmen asked us if we went. At least we got some pictures and we’ll have to experience it another time when we come back.

The property is a bit misleading. It isn’t actually on the cliff side unless you book the Villa. It had been raining but there were tons of mosquitos even repellent wouldn’t keep them away. I would recommend mesh netting around the beds.

The staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The best hospitality you could ask for. The location is also amazing just a few minutes from Rick’s and several other great restaurants.

Villas Sur Mer is a lovely hotel in a wonderful spot in Negril. My one complaint is that we expected we'd be staying in a specific bungalow (the one with the curved roof) and instead we were put in the top floor of a duplex. It was fine, but we'd been really excited about the lovely stand alone bungalow and that's why we booked the place. On the plus side, there as a GORGEOUS waterfront view that you get to through an underground tunnel on the grounds of Villas Sur Mer. Truly magical. We spent a lot of time in that spot.

Lovely tropical oasis, stylish Villa with a comfy bed

Even though the property is a beautifully landscaped oasis, it is among the Negril Cliffs hub and other properties surrounding have a lot of dogs that barked throughout the night. You could hear the music coming from nearby bars as well but it usually quieted down by midnight. The walls in the villa are in need of a fresh coat of paint, when we turned off the AC the place got really wet and damp and it seems to have taken a toll on the interior walls.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely and lush tropical oasis. The villa was stylish and the bed was comfy. Though the kitchen was cramped and could have been better equipped, we enjoyed being able to make coffee and toast in the morning and enjoy it on our patio. We had a resident kitten hang out with us and watched geckos and katydids hunt while having wine at night. Coming from NYC, we wanted quiet and a relaxing getaway and this place was perfect for that. The swimming hole on the cliffs reached through the cave entrance was really cool. The water was a little rough on the days we were there so wouldn't recommend swimming for children or non-confident swimmers unless conditions were calm. The little pool and waterfall on site was nice too, we enjoyed a drink from the bar and chilled one afternoon. Carmen was really nice and helpful, she set up car service for us to and from airport and to 7 mile beach.

The staff here in this place were and are a joke They chemically attacked my space, and I had to shift rooms. Also, there are a couple of crazy workers there. One of them was standing around my house for one hour looking in my windows while he was raking. I asked him how long he would be because I was transcribing important personal material. He screamed at me outside my house, shaking the rake and telling me he could stand outside my house all day if he wanted. I said yes, of course, sorry, sir. Next day I packed and left and the owner refunded my money based on the appalling experience they provided. Basically do not go if you are a solo traveler. They will close in on you and start disturbing and scamming you.

Location is decent but far from most things except Rick's cafe, which is a tourist trap. Daniela was nice the manager but she is overrun and cannot see the real nature of the staff there

Cute villas dotted about a tropical garden that leads to a fabulous pool area. My villa was super comfy. The steps down through a cave to a private deck area was amazing and tranquil to sit down at and watch the catamarans go by. The staff were super friendly and very helpful with tips and booking dinner reservations.
