My wife and I (79 and 82), over a visit of 8 days, did everything, experienced everything, saw everything, one could possibly see and do at this beautiful resort. The infamous stairs are actually a gift for the fit as you move from vista to vista, from site to site (e.g. the secret sauna, the martini bar). And every morning after our walk and breakfast, we go through the gate and into the Garden of Eden!! All of this overseen by the nicest people you could ever meet.

The food options are subpar and the service is terrible with only a few exceptions (the water sport guys at the beach are friendly and helpful).

The property and the beach are beautiful. The rooms are newly renovated and the interior is simple but nice.

Condensation in the room after the bellman left the door open (obviously knowing this to be a problem) made the first night of my stay extremely uncomfortable. His solution did not work and I did not sleep as the room was wet and cold.

The attitude of reception staff, standard of food and service at main restaurant is poor. Bars always seem short of stock so can’t make the drinks you ask, especially the swim up pool bar.

Great location, beautiful set up with multiple pools and beaches. The Bella Vista and Casanova restaurants are great. Entertainments team work very hard, engage brilliantly with guests.

The staff wasn't as attentive as other resorts. Everything was just ok, nothing spectacular.

The beachfront rooms are a fantastic hit but also a little bit of a miss as well. The beachfront access is great but the amount of noise from the Tue & Friday night event setup isn’t ideal. The actual events are fantastic, the live music is well done but we opt for the sound of waves crashing vs live music. The real issue is with the preparation. Setup begins around 6 or 7 am and tear down is 1am. This process is very loud, people are yelling and the slamming of metal together is definitely to be expected but perhaps this could be done at a more convenient time for your guests. Or perhaps even a better location that doesn’t take center stage at A,B and C block. The rooms were great, the only drawback was the beds were soft and made for sore mornings. Perhaps firmer beds and offer the mattress topper to those who need a softer bed. Also the TV ( although not the goal of the trip), it would be nice if you could stream your own media instead of all the channels with no guide and multiple channels have no sound or come in jumbled. This isn’t a huge deal but if you had a few days of rain, kicking back with a couple of movies and drinks is very relaxing. The food was great but it would be nice to have some later night options and something basic like a hotdog or grilled chicken sandwich at 1am.

The location is absolutely beautiful, beachfront rooms give you access to the beach, bars and most restaurants. The views are spectacular and the staff is way beyond top notch. The food has always been excellent and we like the changes to the room service options. There are also plenty of activities that offers a wide variety of thing to do and keep you entertained.
