Very basic room in an old building right in the centre of Amman. Long balcony facing the busy street in the reception room where you can sit and see busy life passing by. We arrived very early in the morning and the reception let us in at 7,30 am! So nice people.

There is no soap provided, the first gentleman we met was a little rude (the second was super kind and made up for it 😆). The only real negative was the party at night at the bar downstairs which kept us up most of the night. It's not the guesthouses fault but as a heads up you have to be a rock hard sleeper for it to not wake you.

It was a comfy stay the beds were comfortable and the showers were clean. The location was the best right in the center of Amman. Until the bar noise woke us up we slept well. The shower and toilets though shared were great.

Overall, the rooms and bathrooms are fairly clean, but there is room for improvement. Bedsheets should be washed after each guest checks out.

The hotel is centrally located, providing easy access to a wide range of services. The pricing is very reasonable, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The bathroom could have been cleaner and more well-ventilated. Showers ran out of hot water pretty quickly.

Great location in the downtown! Easy to find free street parking. Great prices. Free coffee and tea. Friendly staff. Three person room had a sink and good ceiling fan.

The toilets were sometimes wet and you have to bring your own toilet paper. The rooms are a bit crammed, and the beds are not most comfortable but there is a curtain on each bed to gain some privacy. Not a negative, just a heads up: The parking is "kind off" free. If you wish you can leave the car on the street above the restaurant which is across the hostel but we got no real guarantee that the we will not get a ticket. Given we got one a few hours prior to this, we didn't want to risk it and had to pay for parking 4 JD per night. We got to keep our keys though.

The people working there were very kind and helped us with everything. The price is good for the location - which was in my opinion the prettiest and most lively street in Amman. I liked that there was a sink in the room. They also let us leave our bags in the hostel the last day when we checked-out which was very helpful.

We paid for the hotel online before arriving, however, the person at the front desk said he didn't receive the money and took cash from us and refused to give it back, despite showing him the proof that we paid over the app, and email. He mentioned that we should fix it directly with booking. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for a resolution. However, the place is so affordable, that is not a big issue, but just be mindful of a situation like this.

The location is spectacular, right in the heart of downtown Amman. Plenty of alternatives to eat, drink tea and smoke shisha. The Wifi is good enough and the rooms are comfortable. Excellent value for money.

There was a refrigerator with bottles of water which we could buy before our way out, which is very convenient at the earliest hours. Also, the location is very good, close to the city centre, in a walking distance from the archaeological sites and the markets.

It's just hot during the summer, could highly recommend to top up for a room with air conditioning.

The place allows for early check-in and late checkout. The manager/owner is really nice, trustworthy, and flexible when it comes to arranging for tour and driver. The owner/manager of the place took extra care of us in ensuring that we had a great time in Amman. The room was spacious and clean, and it came with a private sink and air conditioning. Towels and extention cable were provided upon request. Nice communal area that comes with TV and fridge. Well located with lots of eateries, sourvenir shops and supermarkets. Felt like a safe neighbourhood.

The rooms are simple and a bit old, but still always clean

I cannot recommend Cliff Hotel enough. The location is perfect - right in the heart of Amman, and there is a balcony with a great view of the bustling and vibrant city. However, what we loved the most was the helpful and welcoming staff. They were incredibly kind, always available to help with anything, and very flexible. They even made us some delicious Arabic coffee! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome.

Sharing toilets and their were cockroaches around the rooms and in the toilets. They need to upgrade their furniture. Some of the rooms had no AC and when we requested for a different room with AC we had to pay extra money for each day we used the AC.
