SpainHotel needs renovation. A lot of rubbish around the hotel. The adult infinity pool was littered with rubbish, cigarette butts, bottles and glasses. We mentioned to the restaurant manager, Hamed, who organised it to be cleaned, even though it’s not his responsibility. The next day it was dirty again. The pool staff just walked past the rubbish without an attempt to get it clean. It would remain dirty all day. The mess was made by the guests but they should be keeping it clean. The showers around the pool need attention - one has no shower head and the other didn’t work. The dirty environment was not acceptable and not a 5-star experience.
Nice location out of Aqaba centre, pools, beachfront and a walking distance to Tala Bay Marina with restaurants, shops and bars. The breakfast team, and Hamed the restaurant manager were very helpful and kind. Good breakfast options and welcoming staff. Good size room and clean.

CanadaThe experience was so good, though the temperature was too high I would like to thank the exceptional service from staff who were so friendly and so professional. I would like to mention here Ms Majida at reception, Mr Habib and Mr Ahmad at Aziab restaurant, Mr Mahmoud and Mr Ammar at pool snack bar, Mr Fadi for his professionalism and out of the box solutions... for sure I will not forget the extremely delicious breakfast and dinner buffet in addition to all snacks and dishes at pool bar.. I would highly recommend Grand Tala Bay for its calm location, great pools and beautiful beach. A walking distance from Tala bay Marina

YemenAsking for services at night could be challenging, it would take them lengthy time to accommodate any request and the bathrooms at the pools requires more attention.
My overall stay was good, I liked the staff, they were very kind especially with the kids. With a special thanks for the restaurant staff including the cooks whom were very friendly, helpful and going beyond and above their duties. It’s worth mentioning that I forgot a bag at the restaurant and it was kept safe until u returned back, also, my phone got lost then found by the restaurant staff. Of course I like the diverse food at the restaurant which included different delicious dishes everyday.

United KingdomNo parking umbrellas so the car was very hot every time we used it. Pillows were not comfortable. Shower in both rooms smelled of piss. Iron and iron board were in terrible condition. Food quality in the restaurant was average.
The staff were welcoming, available and kind. This was during parking, at the reception, room service, life guards and pool entertainment, as well as Asian restaurant. The belly dancer session was amazing. The Infiniti swimming pool was really nice. The room set up was good. AC system worked really well. Beach and beach activities were nice.

The resort is very well kept. Our room was big enough with a nice terrace, and the bathroom was clean and had eveything we needed. There are a lot of swimming pools, the beach is amazing and the reef is just a few metres from the shore. The diving centre and the water sport centre are really good and the staff was very helpful. Finally, the food: really, really good! We enjoyed every breakfast and dinner enormously.

United KingdomThe location and pools were very nice. The resort also was lovely with everything to offer within easy reach. Beach was lovely - but quite a bit of litter around - needs a clean and the sun loungers need an upgrade The room was spacious and clean, comfy bed, great sea view Breakfast was a little limited from a Westerners perspective- tinned fruit or a small amount of fruit salad only. The chef making the omelettes however was great and very friendly. The room was advertised as our son age 10 stays for free, but when we arrived there was only one double bed for the 3 of us for nearly a stay. When I asked for an extra bed for him I was told it would be 35 dinan a night extra. In addition they tried to check us out a day earlier. Customer service was good overall, but just lacked the finesse and small detail I would expect from a 5* hotel. For example - not helpful with the bed issue or checkout, breakfast I had to ask for coffee quite a few times before it came, we felt like we were a problem turning up for tea when we had only breakfast included.I would expect the staff to be a bit more attentive to our needs - especially as we were one of only a handful of tourists there currently. That said I would happily stay there again - as the resort and location are fabulous. I just think the staff need to be a bit more polished with their customer service for a 5* hotel

GermanyThe cleanliness of the room needs some improvement. The balcony door needs maintenance it locked while we were out of the balcony.
We had some issues during our first 2 days, I talked to the night manager and he took it very seriously. After that the service improved massively. Special thanks to mister Habib and his team, who did an excellent job in the restaurant. Also the cook at the omelette station in the morning, was very friendly every day. The area of the hotel is very nice and perfect for a walk.
