Wadi Al Nakhil Hostel offers exactly what you need. Everything is clean and new. My room was spacious and nice. In colder days there is an air conditioning and blankets if needed. The bathroom was new with hot water. This place is great if you plan trekking in Wadi Ghuweir. You can get there in 15 minutes by car.

I stayed to hike the wadi ghwer trail. I can highly recommend it! The place is nice and very clean. The owner is was super kind and helpful. I hiked from here to the start of the trail, it’s about one hour and the view is amazing. Better than take a car to the start

They cooked a delicious home-made, traditional meal for dinner. It's a lovely home very close to the trail head, and they arranged transportation to/from the trail head since I didn't have a car.

    Excellent location, great service.

I personally felt the mattress on the bed was a little thin, but my girlfriend thought it was fine.

Best location for the Wadi Ghuweir trail, you can't get any closer to it. Very friendly owner, who provided us with an excellent (local) dinner and breakfast. We are picky eaters and thought it was delicious. Dinner is at additional cost. There are multiple rooms, we had the one with its own private (clean) bathroom. The room itself was spacious and clean. This hostel is a recent build and that shows, it is in excellent state. There is also a large, clean, and well furbished "chill out" tent-room next to the hostel, which currently isn't displayed in detail in any of the photos (though you can see the outline of the tent in some of them). I was there with my girlfriend but it seems like an excellent spot to completely rent out with a (small) group of (well-behaved) friends as well. On our request, the owner provided us with a (very friendly) guide for the trail at a very reasonable price, and the owner came along himself as well. They provided transportation to the trail, and drinks and snacks along the way. Note that the trail is doable without a guide if you don't want one! This is a hostel, not a 5-star hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this hostel to anyone who understands that difference.

Rooms have carpet on the floor. Mattresses are so thin that you can feel the wood of the bed. Rooms lack a place to hang/dry your towel. Curtains are thin so a lot of outside light shines in the room during the night. Breakfast is very basic and not homemade.

Super location to visit the Wadi Ghuweir trail. Owners are very friendly. Shared bathroom clean and spacious. Dinner (zarb) was absolutely amazing and very well priced.

The mattress is quite hard though.

The hostel is super clean, well organized and the staff friendly. Perfect location to start the hike through the canyon.
