  • Comfort Hotel Hikone Review score: 8.1

“Great value for money with complimentary breakfast included.”

  • “Spacious and comfortable with a great bath. Funny to stay in a love hotel but it didn't feel seedy, felt quite lux for the price!”

  • Honmachi Juku Review score: 8.7

“Well positioned, very convenient and accommodating place. Very traditional building and fittings, absolutely stunning and in the shadow of a temple in the traditional part of the old city. Traditional service too, actually I think the owners live on-site so suited to Japanese but explained everything using a translation app. Delicious and affordable Japanese breakfast. Staff seemed surprised that we didn't leave straight after breakfast but understood.”

  • Tobaya Ryokan Review score: 8.9

“Super Friendly man at the reception - very authentic place - clean - onsen”

  • AB Hotel Hikone Review score: 7.7

“Location is very good near to station and reception staff is very helpful because I missed my bag at Nagoya so I requested for early check in so that i will go again to nagoya to bag pick up and my family will atleast rest in meantime and they agreed so thank you so much for your wonderful support”

  • GUEST HOUSE NAGORIYA Review score: 8.8

“This guesthouse/cafe combination is set in a peaceful residential area of Hikone. The owner is really friendly. He is happy to help you with travel advice. There is a nice common space with a view of Hikone Castle. The dorm was very simple, but I found the bed to be comfortable. Great value stay in Hikone!”

  • Guesthouse Muga Review score: 8.6

“Great guesthouse in a old Japanese wooden traditional home, and in a very good location, will definitely comeback if I'm in Hikone next time :)”

  • “Near the station”

  • KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone Review score: 7.9

“Very spacious room with a perfect view of Lake Biwa. Very friendly staff.”

  • Comfort Hotel Hikone Review score: 8.1

“The location and price were the key reasons for booking and neither disapointed. I felt the price was great for what we got and the location was exactly what I wanted, right beside the station. Best part of the room was that we could turn the lights on and off from the bed, a small thing but made our stay much better.”
