“Very good value for money- meals all included and rooms were comfortable. Drinks available from 245pm prior to check in, up till dinner, and then again in the evening. Very wide selection of food at both dinner and breakfast; Japanese and non-Japanese options available. Quality of the food was very good given the price Staff very friendly and helpful. Outdoor bath (rotemburo) very pleasant, with maple and other trees overhanging the water. When we visited in August there were mostly Japanese families staying at the hotel, all enjoying a summer break together; it was a nice atmosphere. Hotel is right near the entrance to the Goshikinuma walk and also has a bus stop with buses running occasionally to Urabandai Eki (the other end of the Goshikunuma trail).”

“The buffet dinner and breakfast are yummy, the onsen is clean but the water is pretty hot, the staff’s service is very good and there are lots of activities eg badminton, table tennis, soccer.”

“This place is amazing, it's calm and quiet, the staff are all really nice. The dinner is amazing with so many delicious dishes. We borrow the canoe for 2 hours, enjoying the time traveling around the lake. Overall it's a great experience, the whole family are very happy with it.”
