“Bessho Onsen is a beautiful location in the Ueda region, giving you easy access to a rural Japan and feeling straight out of a Ghibli movie! The ryokan was nicely located in the heart of the town, although with large luggage it's tough hill climb from the local train station. Staff were all very nice and tried to help us as much as they could with their limited English. The rooms are extremely spacious and clean.”
“Amazing traditional house in direct nature. We were warmly welcomed by the owner with tea and snacks and even received a small breakfast the next day. The owner is super nice and we had a pleasant chat even with language barrier. Parking with motorcycle was no problem and he even organized a piece of wood for firm stand/parking.
