This was not the experience I’ve expected

Generous size retreat type rooms. Must try the dining experience. Staff were friendly and attentive. A wonderful experience with the details of evening pj for dinner. Their wine is very good.

The pictures don't justify how nice 7C is - the rooms are fabulous and so relaxing. We totally loved our stay and wished we had stayed longer than 1 night.

We only stayed 1 night. It's a beautiful area.

Beautiful, peaceful and thoughtfully designed spaces

We had a fantastic stay at 7C Villa and Winery. The food was a highlight—especially the breakfast box, which was beautifully presented and delicious. The steak we had for dinner was among the best we've ever tasted, and the menu offered excellent value for money. Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and incredibly quiet, which made the atmosphere very calming and relaxing—we ended up staying in the room the whole day simply to enjoy it.

One area for improvement would be the room service. After two nights, it would have been appreciated. Since breakfast is served in the room, having a small dishwasher or an easy way to exchange used plates, cutlery, and glasses would be helpful. As there’s currently no way to clean them in the room, we had to bring everything to the restaurant daily and request replacements, which wasn’t very convenient.

It is a bit out of town

A Europear doesn't expect every mornig to switch on a display in order to have a warm water for shower. Maybe to write there or to say during check in process.

The rooms are beautiful and decorated down to the last detail. However, the place is located at the end of a parking lot of a kind of shopping center and gives the feeling of a motel more than a luxurious villa. But the main thing that clouded the place was the strange "reception ceremony". Upon our arrival, I was asked to sign a form of fines and penalties for violators of the rules of the place. It was a bit strange and unpleasant. We have stayed in quite a few places and I have never encountered anything similar. The attitude of the staff was reasonable but not beyond that

The rooms were elegant, spacious and relaxing. The private tub and patio has mirrored outdoor doors that we closed when the sun was too warm to enjoy the amazing breakfast on the deck. It is very thoughtfully designed and just extremely relaxing. We enjoyed the steak dinner on our first night and it was the best steak I’ve ever eaten. We borrowed the free bikes in our next day and toured around the lake. A great way to transition from Tokyo to the rest of our exploration of Japan. Also- don’t miss the grocery store at end of same property. We saw many properties with views of Fuji, but we felt we had made the best choice.

Great place, but here are some tips: They could have some heartier snacks (or an appetizer plate) that can be taken to the room (we wanted to enjoy some of their wine before going out to dinner on our 2nd night). Or recommend to guests to the nearby market. I thought the website said they had olives or a caprese salad but that didn’t appear to be true. The pate would have been good if it wasn’t frozen and appropriate bread/crackers available. When organizing your dinner in advance, do it through Booking. They are harder to communicate with directly.

Not recommended for travelers. The design is beautiful and the service is excellent, but the hotel is not functional at all. There’s no coffee corner or basic services outside the room, no view of the lake or Mount Fuji, no room cleaning during the stay, and no trash removal. Suitable for those who just want to relax and stay in, but not for active travelers who are out and about.

Price and functionality

Rooms were gorgeous and clean, got there late and the staff helped us arrange taxis, gave us apps on arrival at 10pm and were super helpful aligning requests for things we needed after a long day of travel and quick trip in town. Breakfast was also great, facilities are gorgeous. I wish more places had stays like this

Everything was amazing! the room was perfect and clean, the staff was very kind. We added dinner and chose a special wagyu dish which was delicious!!
