Gareth and Rika were amazing hosts who went above and beyond our expectations. They greeted us with fresh sliced melon and tea at both check in and check out. Gareth even booked a dinner reservation for us at a nearby restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Thin wall. It was not a problem during our stay as guests were respectful of noise after 9pm.

Small family run business. Friendliness of the owners, greqt location, clean, well appointed, and larger than a typical Japanese room. Premise has a good drying room for snow sport gears.

There could be more wardrobe space in the room. Perhaps add a simple clothes stand so that guests can hang up winter apparel. A chest of drawers might also be helpful for longer stays.

The breakfast prepared by Rika with utmost care and heart each morning was simply exceptional and delicious. The room was spacious and well-appointed. Bathroom was great - everything worked. There is a coin washer facility which is a boon. The power outlets were modern and super useful with even a USB C point. Gareth and Rika were so pleasant and helpful. I definitely plan to stay here the next time I am in Furano.

Loved the huge spacious room that had a separate living room area and large bathroom. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to help with our questions and requests. The hotel is thoughtfully designed and located within walking distance of Kitanomine ski slopes and everything else that you will need. Daily one-way transport to the ski area in the morning is provided, and you can easily walk downhill back to Air Furano. There are many restaurants nearby and Lawson is also a short walk away. There is a bus stop less than 5 minutes away if you are taking public transport. It was a real lovely stay, can't wait to be back!

Nothing about the property. The ski area is relatively small, but fun for a few days. Consider side trips to other ski areas or the back county.

The rooms are bigger than typical Japanese hotel rooms. The owners, Garreth and Rikka, were very friendly and provided shuttle service to the gondola every morning. The small bar/restaurant is a great place to meet other guests from around the world. I highly recommend Air Furano.

Our family stay there for 3 nights during December 2024. Very cozy and comfortable experience. Close to ski entrance in walking distance. Rika made different and delicious breakfast for us every morning and Gareth took very good care to us, even lend us cash when we forgot our wallet on the way to ski. We will visit this beautiful place again for sure. Perhaps, in Summer.

We loved everything.

Absolutely everything was perfect. The loveliest hosts, Rika and Gareth, who were supportive, personable and friendly throughout. The food was absolutely delicious! We even shared an amazing Christmas dinner together with the hosts and other guests. The location and facilities were perfect. The hosts are by far the warmest, most supportive and caring hosts we have ever experienced and they will do absolutely everything to ensure that their guests are comfortable, happy and instantly feel at home. Whether that be helping with organization and logistics, helping with travel drops, huge efforts to provide the best service: genuine smiles and conversations and sincere interest in you as visitors to their home.
