The location of the hotel was ideal for our stay. The train station was walking distance to the hotel.

Breakfast was good. A lot of variety. I specially like the freshly baked bread. The room is spacious.

SingaporeThe centralised aircon which resulted in individual room impossible to adjust the right temperature. We had to ask for a fan to circulate air in the room as we were not able to open the windows. There was difficulty to speak to non English speaking reception staff, I gave up explaining in the end.
Location is near the attractions and lots of restaurants around. Though usually need to travel there by car rental. I liked the toilet and shower in same room and quite large. The duvet was.soft and comfortable. Car park is free and just outside the hotel. The breakwater attractions is just next to hotel.and you can shoot.sunrise at 4ish in the morning. There is a McDonald's closeby operating from 7am which is what i need for breakfast instead of a high price of 2500jpy per pax.

It's so close to Wakkanai train station. It's so close to the sea and the historical wave breaker, and the hill and sea view; superb. The room can be regarded as good and probably the most modern in the city at an appreciable rate.

Wakkanai is not big city but Surfeel Hotel Wakkanai is the hotel to stay. Great location. The sea is right in front of you. Just couple of hundreds meters from the train station and the port. It has a big parking lot. All the staff is very helpful and attentive. They explain you everything with details. The breakfast was one of the best that we had it during our travel. There are enough options for every taste. When we visit again, this the hotel we are going to stay!

Great location in easy walking distance from JR Wakkanai station. The room had a fantastic view. The facilities were extremely clean and the staff were friendly and accomodating. The size of the room was also large for Japan.

Great location next to the Station, Bus Terminal and Ferry Terminal - all a few minutes walk. Rooms were quite big with a great view over the harbour. Excellent wifi. Clean and well maintained. Would recommend.

NetherlandsEnglish of the staff was poor. There was a lot of potential for a nice view from the hotel room, but the window was very dirty/full of condens which made the window and the view very blurry.
Good wi-fi, nice curtains, the bed slept very well. The restaurant in the hotel has got good food.

Location was right across the JR station so near to restaurants and convenience stores. Walking distance to the ferry terminal for Rebun and Rishiri islands. Free parking and many available. Rooms are nice size.
