I liked everything. Good bath, amenities and quiet neighborhood. There was a really nice grocery store next door where I bought fruit everyday. Clean, nice people, and overall very positive experience. I would love to stay again.

Everything is PERFECT already.

The accommodation is quiet and clean. It has got everything you need, laundry room, vending machine, maps etc. 7/11 is just the opposite, also Lawson is just a walk distance away.

I loved everything, there was nothing wrong.

I LOVED THIS HOTEL! The couple who managed it were great and so friendly! They knew English and explained everything so well, and I even got a Tokyo Guide and a map of the Nippori area from them. Everything was clean and they had a washing machine as well (which I didn’t get around to using). My room had an electric kettle, AC, hairdryer, yukata and towels.

I stayed in the traditional Japanese room with the tatami floor mat and futon. It was very comfortable and very spacious and very clean. While the hotel is located a little further out from the more central parts of Tokyo, it is in a quiet neighborhood and close to many conveniences. Additionally, several train stations are within 10 mins walk. I would highly recommend.

Annex Katsutaro is a simple, wonderful place to stay in a great location. We've stayed there several times over many years.

Situated within the Yanaka Ginza district, this location is incredibly accessible via mass transit (JR line trains and Chioda line subway). The area abounds with great small restaurants and craft breweries. The ryokan is not "traditional" in that it is a modern building. But the rooms are appointed with traditional tatami mats and futons for sleeping. The staff is gracious and helpful.

My 3rd stay at this wonderful Ryokan. The location is great in the heart of the beautiful Yanaka village area, but only a few minutes walk from good transport options. The rooms are spacious and well priced, and the couple running the Ryokan are lovely and helpful.

The window shades could be slightly darker, the bright light of the parking lot next door shines in and it’s impossible to block fully. But it’s still dark enough to sleep and the window quality is superb

The location is perfect. Everything needed is nearby, and there’s a lot to check out. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there were many outlets available to charge all of our devices. The bathroom was very nice and spacious.

Fantastic location in the Yanaka district: close to the Yamanote line and a metro station but in a nice, relaxed neighbourhood that is great to get back to in the evening after a day in other, packed & busy Tokyo districts. 100% clean, relaxing Japanese rooms. 24/7 opened 7/11 store across the road.
