Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Excellent location, comfortable, the performance of the geishas was impressive, I liked the option of breakfast at the second hotel, it's a good variety. The lounge was also very nice, although it was the same every day.

United StatesThe air conditioning was so welcome on the super hot days of August. The view from the lounge is beautiful of the temple and tower, and the sweet treats were delicious.

GreeceThe only downside — and it wasn't a big issue — was the fact that we couldn't open the window. I think this is true for most hotels in Japan. Fortunately, it wasn't frosted (which is another common thing in Japanese hotels) and had a nice view of the neighboring buildings.
Great location! Every kind of shop you might need is just a stone's throw away, and many attractions are within walking distance. Bus and metro stations are no more than a ten-minute walk. The room was big enough for the two of us, even with three large suitcases. It was clean with big, comfy beds, a mini-bar, and a spacious bathroom. Last but not least, the staff was extremely polite and willing to help with anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone!

SpainWe liked all
The hotel is very well allocated in the heart of Asakusa. We were 4 and the room was a good size . The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean and silent. We had a nice view to the sky tree building , the last floor with the free refreshments a nice treat after a long day out. Thanks :)

Great location. Very clean and helpful staff. They were especially helpful when we were ripped off by Daia Kobe Beef (a terrible chain of restaurants in Asakusa that ripped us off with ridiculously over priced Kobe. If you go, avoid these restaurants.) Asakusa View was a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended!

United StatesWe visited in August and the A/C was intense. It was a nice break at first from the heat but I didn't like going often from one extreme to the other. I found Japanese beds super firm (borderline hard) in general and this hotel was no different.
Cannot beat the location for staying in Asakusa. The pedestrian shopping center is right outside the hotel and you can walk to the Senso-ji Temple and Samurai museum. Very friendly staff, clean facilities, luggage storage in the lobby if you need it, and these rooms felt slightly bigger than our other hotel in Shibuya. That said hotel rooms in Japan run small so it's all relative. They get an A+ for their top floor lounge with free non-alcoholic beverages and snacks from 3-10pm. Excellent views and great local flavors.

United StatesWe all thought it was exceptional and wouldn’t change a thing
Location was central to explore Asakusa and the facility was exceptionally clean, new, comfortable and so beautiful. We loved the buffet breakfast at the sister property across the street and enjoyed a lunchtime meal there as well. Stellar views from that restaurant. Each afternoon, we enjoyed the snacks and refreshing drinks at the lounge on the 10th floor and really enjoyed that space as well with the view of the sky tree. We were lucky enough to catch a Geisha performance right at the hotel which was unique and so entertaining and fun. I look forward to returning to Asakusa View Annex Rokku every time I’m in Tokyo. Loved it!

United KingdomA very nice hotel with an excellent free soft drink and Japanese sweets facility on the 10th floor (between 3pm and 10pm). Well located with good baggage storage facilities. We also appreciated the - once again free - Geisha show on the Wednesday evening in the 1st floor restaurant. These were very nice additional touches which make this a lovely choice for a stay in Tokyo.

AustraliaDidn't know what to expect when we arrived but the location and decor of the hotel itself was amazing. Our room had a view of the Skytree and we were less than a few minutes walk from Senso-ji Temple. There were multiple convenience stores, restaurants, and more in the vicinity, grocery store and a Don Quijote just down the road. I just wish I had more time exploring the area but we had a limited itinerary this time. Housekeeping changed our towels every day, as well as the provided pajamas, amenities were free to collect at the reception area. Absolutely loved it, definitely would come back and stay here again.

United StatesBeds were a little hard, still comfortable, the laundry room would be busy all the time which kept me waiting for a few hours.
Very clean, provided pajamas, all of your amenities excluding soap and shampoo and conditioner, are in the lobby and you can take what you want, good location about a 10 minute walk to tawaramachi station, food on the street is good, and it’s very clean, had a coin loaded laundry room which was very helpful.

CanadaDistance to Shinjuku, Shibuya, etc, but I acknowledge that Tokyo is a huge city, and each district has much to see.
Great location in cultural Asakusa. 10 min walk to subway through the most beautiful Senso-Ji temple complex. Restaurants are all nearby. Great hotel at this price point. Would definitely return.

New ZealandI only wish I could have stayed there longer, definitely a mistake on my part.
This hotel was absolutely amazing. The facilities were very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. They made sure we understood everything and had what we needed. The room was incredibly spacious and spotless, much larger than most hotel rooms in Tokyo. The bathroom layout was also a highlight, with the toilet, sink and vanity area, and the shower and bath all separated. Ventilation and water pressure were excellent, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was large enough to fit three or even four people comfortably. The location was great too, right in Asakusa with shops, restaurants, and markets all within walking distance. They also offer Yamato luggage service, which was really convenient.
