Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Switzerlandthe bathroom wasn’t very clean and the bath was all black with some kind of dirt or something. Also My companion and I being allergic to cats it was a bit difficult due to all the cats (even in the room we had allergies all night).
The bedroom was really spacious and pretty. the hotel reception was beautiful and a lovely vibe and staff.

FranceSome facilities are a bit old, for instance the room was very cold during the night, and everything is a bit old.
The hotel is very cute and staff is super friendly, plus they speak English very well since one of the owner is half American. The cats are so cute!! And the breakfast was super yummy, freshly made and delicious. The room with the tatami was also a great experience!

NetherlandsDue to the fact that my room (#205) was located on the side of the busy road (two-way traffic), I couldn't sleep at the beginning of the late evening and also after early morning (approximately 05:00 hours). I didn't get value for my money.
The centrally located hotel with free parking and the nicely decorated room. I received compensation in cash (¥2,500 per day) for the inability to prepare a lactose-free breakfast.

AustraliaThe breakfast cafe attached to the premises looked very nice but there was no one inside so we went elsewhere.
Very charming accomodation for Nago! The room was very spacious and we loved the pink bathroom! Simple check in, host spoke great English. We didn’t have towels in the room when we arrived and they quickly organised some for us and were very kind.

PolandThe room was quite vintage - it was quite nice, but bathroom was getting too humid due to the lack of the proper ventilation.
Hotel is very close to the bus stop, so it's very comfortable - you don't need to walk too much with the heat :) It's about 40-60min to get to gorgeous beaches and Aquarium. Hotel was very comfortable and we had a beautiful view to the tropical forest. The owner was extremely nice and helped us with early check-in and late check-out so we could take a nice shower after long days. Cats living in the hotel were soooo friendly and it's was a pleasure to come back to see them ;)

PolandWifi was very weak, it was practically impossible to use it in the room, you had to go out to the patio, and for several days it was not available at all, and we really needed it.
The hotel was built in the 1960s and it really has a vintage atmosphere, we liked it very much. Nice location, a bit out of the way, but the city of Nago is not large and everything is close, no more than a 10-minute walk to the bus, restaurant or combini. The service is very nice, but unfortunately they are rarely on site, so in case of problems you have to call and wait.

GermanyI could only find the owner in the evening for questions and i don’t have a Japanese phone number, so i wrote my questions via booking.com and i got a reply. In person would have been easier. In the late evening it can be noisy sometimes do to machines running/aircon. I didn’t know where it came from. I was surprised about the noise of motorcycles close by but it is not the owners fault and it seems like a thing on Okinawa main land
Restaurants, beach and busstop are close by, the owner is really kind, comfortable rooms. The owner speaks really good English

GermanyI guess it's inevitable with an old building, but at night, I woke up to spooky sounds coming from the ceiling... I think some kind of small animals live there. On the other hand, I didn't mind the gecko coming into the room through a small hole in the wall, it was pretty cute and part of the Okinawan experience for me, but I think this might not be for everyone, so just a heads-up.
The building is old and charming, especially the lobby/bar area was wonderfully furnished and comfortable. The room comes with everything one might need, like a fridge and instant coffee. I really liked the pajama especially. There were also cute cats around the hotel. The owner was amazing and kind, and the room was cleaned daily. She sold very tasty scones and when I bought one, she even warmed it up for me and served it with coffee! Also, the location was perfect. The hotel is close to a very beautiful and clean beach, a supermarket, good restaurants and all the important bus stations to get to Yanbaru, Churaumi aquarium, Naha airport etc.

New ZealandRoom was much larger than I anticipated! I enjoyed the tatami in the room. The bathroom was large and the bath was tiled and slanted so you can easily lay comfortably. It was pink which I thought was fab. There are also 2 resident cats who are very friendly that require pets when you walk past
