The bath tickets could be improved, as they were just thin strips of paper that can easily get wet or lost.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location, rooms, and staff were all excellent. Having parking right in front of the hotel was very convenient. The beach just across from the hotel is clean and perfect, especially for families with children. A special highlight was that we were allowed to enjoy some fireworks, and the hotel even provided a bucket of water to safely collect the used fireworks afterwards – such a thoughtful gesture! Highly recommended.

The grassed area by the beach is looking a bit sad - a tidy up would make a huge difference. The washing machine and tumble dryer are on their last legs…could do with being replaced.

Lovely location overlooking the beach and only a short walk to the bus stop at the tourist centre. You can catch the bus from there to the station. It takes around 20 mins and costs 300 yen. There’s also a Lawson’s nearby for food and drinks etc. The room was large with plenty of storage and a lovely tatami area overlooking the beach. Yukatas were provided for the Onsen and for use around the hotel. All in all a great place to stay!

Bathroom had a dried urine smell, but apart from that the room was spotless. Breakfast wasn't really that great and there weren't any alternative options in the area.

Hotel has a nice seafront location with easy access to food and other necessary amenities. Plenty of parking. Good value for money.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room was spacious with a tatami area by the window. All amenities available by reception, with a large selection of yukata for use throughout the hotel and in the onsen on the 3rd floor. Free hotel parking is available.

At this price level we should not complain. Just one thing, the hotel car park could be pretty full on Saturday so it’s better to secure the space a bit earlier.

The hotel is clean and just next to the beach. We picked a seaview room from which we can enjoy a nice view. The onsen is nice too. The breakfast was offered by a restaurant next to the hotel. The food quality is not very high, but it did provide crabs and the staff were friendly, so it’s still value for money.

The hotel is located right on the beach and also has an onsen, which we didn't use. In the room there is a nice seating area with tatami mats and a nice view of the city. An adjacent restaurant, which is apparently run by the hotel, offers very tasty food. In particular, the local is Daisen beer is recommend. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and there were always enough parking spaces available.

the bathroom as with many japanese rooms are elevated and its a but of an issue for my elderly mum. I have to remind her to be careful when she stepped out of the room. coz she has to stepped down as the bathroom is elevated, so I worry she fall. but other than this, i think the hotel is great!

this hotel exceeded all our expectation. It was new and clean and very nicely designed. there are restaurants right in the hotel so we can eat dinner too and the dinner was great. Breakfast was great, selection was good and they even have crabs for breakfast. the sea front location was good too and the beach was wonderful. the view outside the hotel was amazing as we had a sea view room, we went for a stroll in the morning. the parking was free and theres onsen which we can enjoy! so we love it for the price we pay.. the room has a tatami area where we can sit and enjoy tea and see the sea view.

Nothing, it was all great.

A nice, modern hotel of an attractive style, and literally on the beach. The hotel's onsen was good too, with an indoor bath and one open to the air with views out to sea. Colourful yukata and geta are provided free, and you can also wear them outside the hotel to stroll on the promenade. As with most Japanese hotels, the rooms are rather small (especially if you're travelling with a number of pieces of luggage), but the space was well designed to make the most of the space available. Our family room had twin beds and then a raised tatami area with a table that stowed away so that a futon could be laid out for a third person. We had floor to ceiling windows with an awesome view of the sea and the peninsula (sunset was particularly wonderful). We ate the buffet breakfast in the restaurant on site and it was good value for money. The car park has plenty of spaces. We also used the bus, which goes regularly from a block away to Yonago station, in around 15 minutes. There are two convenience stores a couple of minutes walk away. Kaike Onsen is a good base point for Matsue, Izumo and Daisen.
