The position was very central and made it very easy for us and our friends to visit the temple walk , then go on the ferry and walk about Onomichi.

I can understand the chef might not be able to get ingredients for a full breakfast by that time. But surely, an hotel of this standard should be able to provide a lighter alternative to their customers for orders after 7 pm.

FranceWell the room we had did not look like the one we booked. The windows were too high and it was not possible to see outside without taking the stairs leading to a very small part of the room which was not very comfortable. The sink in front of the bed (which is very low) and outside the bathroom was not practical. Since the photos of the hotel shows the spa zone, it could be written in a more obvious way that there are extra costs for the use of it (quite expensive). With a room not so comfortable, a free acces for guests to the bath would be appreciated. Last but not least we arrived by car and had extra costs for the parking.
The hotel is in the heart of the city and gives direct access to the train and to the Shimanami Kaïdo. The hotel is nice. The breakfast is really a good part of the experience.

The location was perfect for travellers. The breakfast was good. The best feature were the corner windows of our room. Watching the comings and goings of the trains was a treat for train buffs!

Really clean and modern hotel with a very central location - ideal for starting the Shimanami Kaido. Also it had all the amenities you could need, incl. washing facilities which were very useful.
