Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelCheck in time is late: 16:00. The Japanese default seems to be 15:00, which is already late Some might be troubled by the sound of the road and train at night. Earplugs are provided. We didn't need to use them, but traffic sounds from outside the room can be heard
Impeccably clean, new, comfortable, nice lounge outside the room, good location

LuxembourgI have a stayed a week in this " Pension " as I cant really call it a Hotel (it has just 5 rooms or so, and there is NOBODY iin the building, or it has to be for the 1 or 2 persons that come in every morning to enjoy their office spaces in that same building, but they enter via a seperate entrance, however no interaction with these people at all, or any other guests which makes it (altough beautiful in finishing and design), rather dead building without any " life " in it... Also the room downstairs what can be used for your breakfast or other food you may want to consume and which is called Lounge Area, is a rather static and sterile place, everything is brand new and super clean, but it feels a bit like a showroom instead of a comfortable/chill out place, what should be more the description of a Lounge to my point of view.. Next to this.. there is a railtrack running just next to the building .. and although these trains dont pass bye at high speeds, they do make noise and I reckon that not everybody is going to like that when 05h10 sharp every morning the 1st train starts to pass by the house and then about every 15 to 20 minutes for the rest of the day until about 21hrs in the evening.. In the urban area around this place, there is not much to do either, very few restaurants, and be prepared for the fact that Cash is still King in this area of Japan, no acceptance of credit cards, so bring along enough cash if you want to eat somewhere at some point ( and dont want to run every evening to a nearby local Supermarket to look for your own food and also here you need to pay in cash both my VISA and Mastercards did not get accepted unless you go to convenient stores or further away to the larger AOEN Supermarkets. For me it was OK to stay here, as I was there for an onsite job in the area, but I cant see myself spending my holidays here, although i might do well for a passing through traveller just for 1 or 2 nights.
It is a pretty new constructed building in wood setting which is very well done and finished.. I loved the room ( reasonable sized for Japanese standards... and the shower.... this bathroom was equipped with a " normal shower " and not one of those typical plastic boxes that you find in 9 out of 10 hotel chains in Japan, all the same and all alike... nope this has a proper shower and also the parking spot provided in front of the building is a bonus, basically everything feels new as if it had been finished just a month ago, but I've understood that this was completed in 2023 already.

United KingdomWas perfect
Perfect location and great room. The owner generously took me around a few of the studios and introduced me to to several people working in Bizen who spoke English. I magically had the opportunity to see a climbing kiln firing and another being opened. Everyone in the village was open and welcoming. Picked up a few beautiful pieces

United KingdomI just spent one day in Bizen and booked the hotel based on an overall good score. It may be fine for others but I should have read the reviews mentioning the street noise… the room is just a few yards from a very busy road with trucks passing throughout the night. It may be just the room we were in, but even with earplugs, for us it was impossible to sleep.
New, nice design, very functional

AustraliaThere was absolutely nothing to dislike.
The facilities are immaculately appointed, newly built combining elements of traditional Japanese architecture and contemporary design to create a stylish, relaxed and peaceful environment. The location was excellent and the host was extremely considerate and helpful with providing advice for visitors new to the area.
