The all-women floor is basically just one big room with the common space where you can eat, chill and store your luggage as well as the bathrooms directly next to the bed nooks. Even though there were signs to be quiet, people were unfortunately being a bit noisy after midnight. Also, the hostel is located directly on top or next to a bar so I could hear music in the evening and night which was disturbing my sleep.

At first I was pleasantly surprised. The hostel was really really clean, modern, really close to Ueno-Station and the beautiful Ueno Park and I could even check-in 2h earlier. The staff was mostly absent but the person who checked me in was very nice. They provide shampoo etc, free earplugs, a hairdryer and even a hair straightener. There are lockers, a fridge, a microwave and a water cooker.

I liked almost everything about this hostel, top location with all you need near by, plus the park. The only down side for me was people’s packing late at night and the place is tiny so everyone hears everything. There should be a rule scheduling this.

Hostel isn’t really staffed so when I arrived there was a post it on the door with the door code. Anyone can access this code so it didn’t feel too safe and was worried my belongings would get taken during the night. The main light is on all night, did have a curtain but light still came through. It’s not really a woman’s only hostel, it’s just a woman’s room with men’s room downstairs (so they also know about the door codes on the door). Carrying my snowboard gear up 4 flights of stairs wasn’t very convenient

Bed and pillow were comfortable. Place was clean and good value for money.

Towels are an additional cost, there is no personal locker for each bed.

I came from the airport for a night of layover and the day after took the shenkisin train so the location was great because it's 5 minutes walk from Ueno station. The area was nice and not scary at all as a girl traveling all alone. Self check in was simple and went smoothly. Everything was very clean and they provide you body soap, shampoo and conditioner. The heating in the room was very good which is important because I was visiting on winter, and the blanket was quite thick so I didn't suffer from a cold during the night at all. The climb up the stairs wasn't that bad for me and it's worth the affordable price and convenient location in my opinion.

Lots of clubs along the street back to hostel, avoid to walk around there during night time

Narrow. Hard to climb up to the upper bed. And hard to get out of the upper bed.

It’s a bit narrow. The price is reasonable comparing to the size of the room. My friends and I felt a bit uncomfortable staying in a place which is likely a box. Anyway, the place is clean.

It was a little hard to have privacy since there's no real door. I could hear other guests talking while I'm trying to sleep. But for the price it was still worth it.

It was so Cosy, the employee lives there so she cleans every morning which is amazing. I love the heated toilet seat.

Specific location - It's on the fourth floor with no elevator. I do not recommend if you don't do stairs well. The staircase is outdoors as well. - The second floor is a host club and at night there will be workers hanging outside the stairwell entrance and it can be awkward. - It's in a red light district and you will see more host girls on the street than you can count - There is no convenient nearby coin laundry. The closest one is a half mile away. If you ask nicely you can do your laundry downstairs for ¥500, but it takes 3 hours and doesn't dry well. The workers live there - The lady was in one of the bunks and it was kinda awkward. She would be there most of the time and used the same amenities - The guy lives behind the curtain when you first come in. Obviously don't go in there. It was convenient since he would be close by if you needed him The shared space is really small - Everyone stores their luggage in the same space, which made it hard to access your stuff. Backpackers would leave their bags everywhere without regard for others. - There was only enough space for three people to sit at the tables at one time, which sucked if there was one person who was there seemingly all day. - People will leave personal stuff on the tables anyways. Other guests can be rude - Sometimes there would be people who would be very loud with no regard for others who may be sleeping. People would be out until 1 and others awake at 5:30, both were super loud. - Some guests can be passive aggressive. - Some people snore really bad, but there are earplugs for sale. The room was poorly ventilated - I had to sleep with my head facing the curtain as there was no circulation inside my cubby. I woke up sweaty every day. You will be okay as long as you don't let anyone else get to you. The noise was the worst part. The stairs were pretty bad too but I also lost 5 pounds 🤷‍♀️

The location is great! - Less than 10 minutes walk to 5 different stations, including Keisei-Ueno station which connects directly from Narita Airport. During my stay I took advantage of the Ginza line which was less than 5 minutes walk away. - There is a Lawson directly across the street, and a Family Mart and 7/11 nearby. - Ameyoko is very close and has lots of street food options - Ueno park is close as well, I highly recommend a visit and to check for any festivals that may happen during your stay. The workers are very helpful - Upon check in there was a man who was very nice and explained everything - The lady was kind and friendly, she did a very good job keeping the place clean. There lots of amenities - The shower was small but that's expected. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. - There is an available hair straighter and hairdryer to use. - You can purchase small basic items for a small fee. Towel rental is ¥200. Other guests can be really nice - I made so many friends while I was here! We even went out together! It helps to be talkative but others will take the initiative as well - Some girls are willing to share stuff if you ask nicely The room was cozy - The mattress was comfortable and the blanket was fluffy - Inside came with a coat hook, light, and outlet. (Don't forget your converter) - The room itself is well built with sturdy walls and ladders. Overall great experience, I would stay here again over any other capsule hotel solely for the location.

The street it’s in gets a little sketchy at night. There wasn’t an elevator so I had to take my suitcase up there floors by myself.

It was very clean, the facilities were good, the other guests were considerate and the location was close to the station.

There are small signs to be quiet at certain time, I personally only noticed one and it was in English so other languages will not understand. But guests were very loud. Area is a party area and there is a lot of hostress bars and inappropriate clubs. As a European, I still found it to be much safer than most places I've been to in Europe but it might be intimidating for others so do research. It is not the owners fault what happens in the area and the guests being loud, but I did not give a 10 rating because I think the owner/worker could prevent it by putting up more signs and in multiple languages because most guests who were loud didn't speak English. Owner/Worker stays overnight in the pods so telling guests to be quiet is possible too. Because of loud guests, I didn't get much sleep which affected my trip. The night before my 27 hours of travelling, I got 5 hours sleep at most because loud guests woke me up.

It was nice, comfortable and clean. Owner/worker is a very quiet lady. There's another hostel on the lower floor which I believe is the same hostel but for the mixed dorms and the worker there who is very kind and respectful does work in this hostel. Showers, desk area, kitchen area, floors, beds, etc. are clean. Showers have shampoo, conditioner and body wash/shower gel. There is a fridge to put food and drinks in and labels to put name on items for fridge. There is a kettle to make tea and coffee. There is a grill/oven that can be used to heat up food and cook. Renting a large towel cost me ¥200 each time which I personally think is good. To get a clean towel, a basket provided to put it into when used and then for it to be washed, ¥200 is a very reasonable price. Easy check in/check out. Keisei station and Ueno station were only less than a 5 minute walk. Lawsons is across the street. A lot of nice affordable food places in the area.

The hostel was so small that there was nowhere to put your stuff. Also, the hostel is in a bar District and there was loud music during a good part of the night.

It can be a bit loud at night depending on who is staying at the same time as you. The location can be a bit scary at night but it was completely safe.

The entire place was very clean. The location is very close to many train stations and Ueno Park. All of the amenities are always available for use.

Wtote direct email and another email via booking.com ask to allow me drop luggage early and ask lower bed. No repk from them qnd ended up I can't come in early. Need to store my bad in station's locker til check in time. Location is close to train station but a bit sketchy coz 2nd floor is a ladies club. Hotel in 4th floot without elevator. Hotel exoect no-human-interface check in process but didnt reallywork. They still put our name, passcode and bed# on the papet outside the door.

Hote&toilerl is pretty clean. Fridge & micriwave are provided. Hair dryer and hair straiggtener also available. If you got area S, tgen can be a bit noisy coz directly attach to common room/lobby.. Good place just for 1-2 night stay.

All the beds are in the common area .you can hear the sound from the door closed or luggage packing.

The guesthouse main street entrance location is near the Keisei-Ueno station walk-in by 5 minutes. The bathroom and toilet are separate and keep clean and tidy.
