No proper cooking area or common area- just a kettle and microwave next to a window bench with 5 seats when there are 20+ beds in the dorm. You can’t really, meet people or socialise because there is no space for it and you don’t want to disturb anyone who may be resting/sleeping in the dorm. If you’re a solo traveller, better to stay somewhere else.

Great location for Shinbashi and the metro. The capsule was comfortable and the facilities were generally clean. The automated checkin was smooth.

The accommodation should invest in a full size ironing board. They only have a tiny one there, which put marks on my shirt anyway.

The location was good and close to Yamanote line, and just a short walk to Ginza or Shiba Park. There are many great places to eat and drink nearby.

I checked in late. Approx 1am, couldn’t use the iPad, but once I downloaded the “Line” App, I could message the team and was checked in quickly! Great service. Facilities were clean and in good condition.

The security of your bags was very low, you have to leave your big bags in a communal space down the end of the rooms. It was OK because I feel japan is a safe place but it's still not a risk I'm that comfortable with. Unfortunately our beds were next to the communal area so it was a little bit noisier at times, not unbearable but definitely required ear plugs. If you have beds further down then I'm sure it's fine :)

The beds were comfy and the showers/toilets were clean. There was an area for you to hang things to dry which was good (not just hanging everything in your bed) - although it was in a communal space. Staff were nice and helpful :)

The hallways were incredibly narrow making it extremely uncomfortable to move around, and leaving almost no space for luggage, the bathroom area had a weird, unpleasant smell, there is no staff there waiting for your arrival and it is not clear who to contact regarding questions/issues so you have to figure everything out by yourself, they are quite strict about not making noise past 10pm and there is no area to make phone calls after that time or anything like that if necessary, since the only lounge area is only separated with a curtain.

The bunks had great privacy and you could really feel as if you were in your own space, it gets the job done, a bed to sleep in, that’s about it.
