Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThe fridge is quite noisy, and the street can be loud as well, which might be an issue for light sleepers.
The apartment is in an old building with basic, simple comfort, but it’s offered at a good price. The space could definitely benefit from some refreshing. The main beds are decent, while the sofa bed isn’t very comfortable, though it’s fine for children. The location is practical, about a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest metro or train station.

JapanIt was a little creepy and a really old housing so think of it as a guesthouse and a private hostel. The water was unpredictable sometimes with warm and cold even if you turn the hot faucet. The upstairs people were screaming at each other and when i was alone in the stay it is a bit unsafe as its the first floor and you dont know what to expect. Its right next to the road so if you are sensitive to sound like me, maybe bring earplugs.
I liked that i could choose where to sleep. The neighbourhood doesnt have much but the walk was nice and there are three stations about 10 mims walk from the property so if you wanted restaurant you could walk towards each one.

Australiafirst of all i never leave reviews and if i could rate this place a 0 i would. For those who dont want to read long reviews: Not cleaned, no electricity, reeked of cigarettes, floor dirty, sheets and towels unwashed, the main light had a plastic bag over it, looked nothing like the images. For those who want detail, at first everything was okay while talking to the owner. We had arrived early and were told that we could leave our luggages at the accommodation before check in time at 3pm. So we get there at around 12pm, my grandma is tired from the travels already. we dont see any cleaners there the place is a mess and reeks of cigarettes. We just sit for a bit to give my grandma some time to rest and message the owner inquiring about the cleaners to which they said they would be there soon. we opened the windows to try to air out the place then went to get some food and came back at around 2:40pm and theres still no signs of cleaners. We wait inside of the accommodation texting back and forth with the owners till 5pm and theres still no signs of cleaners nor did it smell any less like smoke. lights werent working. rubbish was everywhere, sheets and towels were dirty and the floor had little black dirt and rubbish everywhere. At this rate my grandma is very tired and uncomfortable so we book a different accommodation and asked for a refund to which they refused and said they would compromise with voiding a cleaning fee, this was unacceptable considering it's not even our mess and we were not going to stay at all. They then tried to offer 150$, mind you we paid the full amount of $1.4k AUD. Then they ignored me until i said that i brought it up with customer service then they tried to offer no cleaning fee again and that they were sorry. By now we have already left (5pm) and checked into a hotel and have told them that we will not be staying there and have left.
