The location of the property was absolutely amazing. It was so close to the ski lift and really close to good restaurants and walking distance from the bus stop. I have no complaints. It was really a beautiful property too.

Downstairs there’s a cool bar and there is an on on site with the sauna on the steam and a cold plunge. The room was so gorgeous. It even had a projector television right above the bed and a record player with cool records

Japanese tradition meets modern style! As a family of 4 this was perfect for us! Onsite onsen, steam room and sauna were a bonus - plus a cosy little bar downstairs

Boutique at its best! The rooms are thoughtfully designed with authentic finishes and bespoke styling. The cozy public bar downstairs was a treat, Kazu’s cocktails are some of the most delicious we’ve ever had. Then there’s the private sauna, steam room, cold plunge and extra large hot bath… definitely the highlights of our stay. Thanks HETA!

It's pretty close to pretty much everywhere you need to be in Nozawaonsen. 10 minute walk to main town area, and a 6 minute walk to the Nagasaka Gondola! The folks there were pretty friendly and accomdating!

Comfortable beds, great bath, great fridge. Excellent location. Good sauna.

Only one toilet for 9+ occupants. Smart projector was great but no clear wall to project on to. Limited kitchen equipment. Bad sewage smell in bathroom (blocked drain maybe).

The family room had a great set up for our family of 4. Loved the room set up with table and chairs. The record player in the room was awesome. Fantastic Onsen (spa) /sauna /and the steam sauna. Was nice to be able to use the spa facilities as a family! Great bar set up downstairs. Easy walk to ski slopes and town amenities. Delightful staff!

Great location. Friendly hosts. Very clean and comfortable. Terrific outdoor private sauna and steam cabins. Ideal after a long day on the slopes.

Everything was fantastic. Aesthetically, this place is beautiful. Pared back Japanese aesthetic meets antique collector. Great location close to Nagasaka gondola and 5mins to all restaurants by foot

Excellent location as u could walk to the gondola and also to the restaurants. Beautifully appointed and the highlight was the private jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.

What a gem this place is!! This was our first time in Japan and wanted to go somewhere that maintained a lot of the local culture. This is that place. It feels brand new! Comfortable beds, nice private bathrooms and all the amenities you could want. We stayed in the double room on the lower level. There is a waterfall right outside the room where all night you can hear the soothing sounds of the babbling brook. It was some of the best sleep of my life with that white noise in the background. We really enjoyed the private bath/sauna every day after skiing. The main gondola is only an 8 minute walk from the room. The bar downstairs was incredible, we stopped to have a lemon sour every evening before dinner. Kazu,who manages the bar downstairs, was our favorite! He made our trip so lovely. We (as Americans) wanted coffee first thing in the morning, and when we told him that, he brought us a nespresso maker so we could have it in our room. How thoughtful and special! Also, Akari who cleans the rooms was so kind and went out of her way to speak to us and offer any assistance about places to eat, etc. This place is truly the most comfortable and amazing spot in Nozawa. I can’t say enough good things about it. Aesthetically pleasing, accommodating, and easy access to the ski resort. Absolutely amazing.

Along a narrow lane, difficult to load and unload. Difficult to find.

Really enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel. The staff are so friendly and kind, always there to assist and helped book great restaurant options. The private saunas are fab. Amazing cocktails at the bar. Location is great!
