The location is a bit far away from everything else, but the public transport is great.

The owner is very kind and for girls, the stay has very nice vibes.

I felt like the ambiant music, that I really like, was just a little too loud this time. It went from relaxing ba ground to slightly annoying. Very petty, maybe, but I needed to write something I didn’t like.

I have stayed here before. I was anxious to be back at Sui for its location and ambiance. It also has a kitchen, which is very important to me.

I was impressed by the facilities and how private the beds were in the dorm. Super comfortable stay, the owner was really nice and helpful. Free laundry and cheap drinks in the kitchen! 10/10 probably best stay in Japan! And it’s so nice to be outside of the busy area, there was still a lot to discover around.

Well designed and quiet hostel. For me the location was great as it is in a quieter, less touristy area of Kyoto. The beds were comfortable and the toilet and showers were separate but adjacent to the dorm. Therefore quiet. You can rent bikes to get around and there’s a public onsen close by approximately 5 min walking distance. Great value for money! Loved my stay!

Wooden sleeping areas should be easy to make noise noóie.

It is quite far from the centre, there are lots of buses, so it's fine, just don't expect Tokyo-level of transport links.

Absolutely amazing hostel, if you get the chance, you have to stay here! So comfy and relaxing, the owner is amazing, great showers. Just everything!

Beautiful and calming hostel. The larger capsules have room for bags and suitcases on the inside. Staff is very accommodating. Great option for solo travelers.

They play the same music over and over in the dorm areas during the day, which I found made it difficult to relax there unless it was evening/night/early morning.

I found it on an architecture design media, and the space is as awesome ! My space is divided by a curtain, it’s like I have my own room. In my space, I had my own desk, lamp, tissue box, bin, window.. And the shared bathroom & toilets are also well equipped. It’s spacious and full of thoughtful details. The best hostel I’ve ever been !

Lovely host, who let me check in early and kept my luggage longer. You can see effort was put into the design of the capsules and the atmosphere of the space in general. Bigger kitchen to eat or socialise. Sad I only stayed one night. Bit of a more remote location in a very cute Japanese living area, but worth a trip.

It’s a bit far away from the main tourists spots. If you don’t mind catching busses it’s fine though.

The staff are absolutely lovely. The facilities are beautifully kept and clean. The women’s bathroom is very safe with a code lock on the door so it feels very secure. My partner and I stayed in one of the private rooms. It was a little bit small but so lovely and clean.

The isolation of noise is no the best as it is common in capsule / hostels in general. But ear plugs are provided and the people saying there seem to have some kind of respectful behavior to stay silent in the sleeping area. This is just a minor critic !

The host is such a lovely person! Nice design if the hostel. It can get social in the common space so you might be able to meet people to do trips together. It was very very clean. It was by far the best overall hostel experience I had so far during my trip.
