The hotel is a bit far from the Nagoya station. It took me around 25 minutes to walk there.

Excellent cost/value ratio. A good choice if you need a comfortable place to stay, but are planning to spend most of your time elsewhere.

The bedroom itself was a bit cramped but kind of expected due to how big the toilet and shower room was. A bit more space around the bed and door would be nice. It might be a problem for those with larger luggage, however those travelling light shouldn't have much problem.

The toilet and shower room was bigger than usual hotel room. It had a very wide sink and the room was spacious which was a nice treat. It was a great change of pace compared to the usual combined plastic hotel toilet you usually see. It was also very clean. There was a very spacious counter top as well which you place small bags on top.

The room is small but we had no issues with it at all.

Easy to use self check-in machine. The staff are nice. Clean and neat. There are washing machines and dryers at very reasonable price - 400yen for a wash detergent and fabric softener inclusive, drying 100yen per 30 mins and we spent 300 yen on that. Fast and safe lift. A large selection of free amenities at the lobby, and free tea and coffee from the machine at certain time of the day. The lobby is stylish and relaxing.

The location is perfect if you want to discover Nagoya, especially by night. Not far from the castle and overall a good place to stay, quiet and comfy. I recommend it!

Pack your own pillow or go to Don Quijote that is a couple of blocks from them and buy one. The pillow supplied offered no support at all.

The room is really, really small. Both my spouse and I were staying there, and it was difficult to just move around the double bed. However, there was room on the desk to squeeze two large suitcases, but more than that and I think you might end up storing stuff in the bathroom. Also, as I mentioned, if you are on the 9th floor, you may have to deal with the coin laundry sounds, humidity, and noise from people going to the onsen.

Erenoa is a clean hotel, and it has an onsen, which I was too tired to use, but was part of why I booked it. The staff member I interacted with was friendly and nice. We used the coin laundry washer/dryer, and loved that they allowed you to set lock codes to protect your clothes from being taken. However, the coin laundry and possibly the onsen on the 9th floor made the 9th floor humid, which some people may not like if they are on that floor. We also loved our private bathroom in our room.

Area the hotel is in is lovely and central however there's a lot guys on the road outside trying to get you to come into various bars, so it makes for an uncomfortable walk back. Under beds aren't checked, found someone's glasses under the bed.

Room was lovely and hotel had all the basic essentials you need. Laundry room even has locks on each machine to protect your things. Self-service check-in is very good however you have to get a keycard to do so from front desk. Bathroom is strangely bigger than the room itself.

The area around the hotel is mainly entertainment bars / right light district. The rooms have no window.

Breakfast was limited but reasonable. Free coffee all day. The rooms are extremely small but the hotel is brand new so shower, bedding, carpets are very clean.

There was a bug in the bathroom and there was a hole in the bedding. Stains on the pillow.

I don't think there was anything I didn't like. Everything was easy to access, the hotel was easy to navigate. The check-in process was easy, and I felt really safe in my room. I felt comfortable and safe leaving my belongings in the hotel during the day.

The breakfast was amazing -- for an American, a good mix of familiar foods and new foods. I loved the eggs, meatballs, yogurt, and I especially loved the french toast. It was the best I have ever tasted.

Very small room. This is a bit of a standard in Japan but this one in particular had a minuscule window which led to an even more minuscule alley, making for truly a shoebox experience. To make things worse, opening that window for some sort of ventilation led to a very nasty odour getting into the room.

The room was neatly decorated and things felt new-ish. Really good shower. Front staff was lovely and very helpful.
