We were genuinely quite surprised at how nice this hotel was. Visiting as part of a three week tour for our honeymoon, we stayed in 9 hotels, and some swanky ones costing almost 10x this per night. Somehow I remember this over most of them. Value for money, this was the best out of them all. Service was amazing (obviously, it's Japan). The reception, halls and rooms were mostly made out of wood and with the lighting low and moody, it was a very chilled and relaxing place to be. The bed was gigantic, and the amenities in the room just what you need - really good shower with good shampoo and gel, mirrors, water, tea & coffee with a kettle, pj's etc. In addition, there's a communal area on the ground floor with a fridge containing frozen fresh soups (didn't try), and a microwave, kettle, and all of the utensils for dinner in a kitchen area nearby. It's on a main-ish road but we couldn't hear any noise at all in case you have concerns. There's no restaraunt here but they offer bento boxes for breakfast. I'd highly recommend the Benkei restaraunt over the road for some extremely nice Ramen!

Our stay at Fairfield by Marriott was incredible. The hotel was lovely, and our room was beautiful and so comfy. We booked for 2 nights but decided to extend for 1 more as it was in the perfect area for places we planned to visit, and again, it was just so comfy. The staff were so friendly, especially Enomoto, who helped us and was very kind. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Mie!

Czech RepublicWe used the washing machine, but the powder is dispensed automatically. After washing, the laundry was not clean or fragrant enough. We would have liked it more if the hotel offered a dose of powder for a certain amount of laundry. This is how it worked at another hotel and the laundry was clean and fragrant.
This was the best hotel during our month-long trip around Japan. Friendly staff, clean, spacious, comfortable room, great shower. We could use the coffee machine for free. Highly recommended!

Their front desk staff, Yamakado, is extremely patient, polite and helpful. I didn’t know my husband double booked this hotel on 2 different platforms, resulting in a lot of confusions. Yamakado handled the situation very well. I am very thankful for her patience and her helpfulness.

Well located. Even though there isn’t meals provided or a restaurant inside, the staff will recommend many food options nearby. They also have a dining table and microwave oven for those who buys their own meals from elsewhere back to eat. The room is spacious and very comfortable to use this as a base to go other places of interest nearby. We stayed 3 nights.

The location is great and it is just beside the express way with free car park. The room is good size and super clean. The staff were very friendly and we have room for both Mountain View and sea view. Although there is no restaurants in this hotel but the common area is so cozy with coffee machine and lounge area to rest. We have breakfast everyday there with the food we bought from the nearby (5 minimum walk) supermarket. There are microwaves and toasters. There is also a little store in the hotel you can buy food. Perfect for visiting Kumamo area! Highly recommended!
