Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandI rarely write reviews, but when something is really out of the ordinary, I do. THE STAFF WAS REALLY HELPFUL. They are quick to respond when you want help. They also speak very good English.

New ZealandOutstanding location, particularly good if using taqubin for ski gear. Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent with a huge variety. Try to do the first tracks which allows you skiing before the mountain opens.

JapanIt's a bit old (which adds to its charm) and maybe the pipe design are old too. So especially on the first day I felt like the clothes that I hang inside the room smells like food which they were cooking downstairs. Aside from this everything was fine!
The location - the lift no. 12 is just in front of the property which makes it real ski in, ski out. Super cool! The food - I stayed for 7 nights and got the half board option which tastes good. Breakfast has the staple eggs, ham and sausages and a decent variety of other main which changes every day. There's also a drink bar with soup, coffee, tea and sofas which was accessible anytime of the day. Dinner also tastes really good and didnt repeat the whole I was there. Kudos to the staffs! Speaking of the staffs, they were really helpful and made sure my stay was great. My snowboard arrived a bit later and the lady in the reception kindly offered to follow it up with Yamato. The staffs in the inn made me feel very comfortable in the whole 7 nights that I was there. The atmosphere - it's classic wooden lodge in the mountains - rustic and charming. Value for money! Every cent spent here is totally worth it! For the location, food, atmosphere and staff everything is worth it.

IndonesiaDriving to this place was quite a challenge with the ultra narrow paths.
One of the best retreat from the middle of Japan’s city life. Lots of people brought their pets and families as well. The place was quite cozy with the nice lodging like interior.

JapanThe route is narrow on some part, and no light at all which might be a bit troublesome.
The 2nd floor balcony was really nice in the morning, even in July it’s just around 19°C which is very comfortable and also dogs are allowed.

AustraliaJust a heads up for my fellow gaijin. Brush up on your Japanese bath house etiquette before you stay. It was great but I made a few mistakes that made me feel a little bit silly.
Talk about Ski in Ski out!! I didn't actually realise when I booked, that this is completely on mountain accommodation. Absolutely outstanding. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were absolutely great. Very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast in the mornings had a great selection to fuel up for the slopes and I thought other meals were tasty and great value for money. Catch the Ropeway and get picked up in a snowmobile.. how many places can you stay that do that!!

TaiwanWe booked a room with mountain view, but instead got a windowless room upon arrival. I suspect both the hotel and booking.com are responsible for this mistake.
Nice location on the mountain right next to a lift, rental shop right onsite, clean and cozy, friendly staff.

AustraliaThe property is on a hill so is hard to get into town after the cable cart closes at 5pm.
I stayed in autumn, and the location was divine; surrounded by trees with yellow and orange leaves, I enjoyed my morning coffee by the fire with a view of the lake. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable - I was well looked after. I will definitely be back for another beautiful stay!

United StatesIt's an old lodge, so the facilities such as the shared bathrooms were small and cold. These negatives however are far outweighed by all the positives.
Hands down best breakfast buffet I've had at a hotel stay. The food was fresh and gourmet with plenty of varieties. The location of the lodge was right on the ski slopes, so it was a true ski in ski out experience. The staff here work around the clock to make the stay comfortable for their guests. They even picked us up on a ski cat on the first day after getting off the gondola to get there.

PhilippinesThe dull metal stairs, squeeky wood flooring as well as the no private bathroom inside the room. Not recommended for senior who goes to the bathroom frequently at night time.
A classy lodge cabin with with billard tablre, comic books and unlimite drink, and a nice fire place to relax. Situated on top of a mountain. We had Good company with a friendly staff, gueat and owner, nice dinner and breakfast meal Peacefull place and a good hiking area during Autumn.

MalaysiaCleanliness and maintenance of the hotel need not also be rustic. Good selection of food, but there is room for improvement in the overall quality of the food.
