- Bed was large and comfortable - Extension cord was provided and worked well - Nice view of rice paddies and village outside - Sliding doors were a nice touch

- Kitchen was absolutely filthy, hundreds of dead flies on the walls - Bathrooms weren't terrible but the windows let at least ten living insects in - Very hard to get to, not near anything including convenience stores or grocery stores (nowhere to buy food) - Scary: was told there was only one room remaining but didn't see anyone else there, evening or morning

Basically has the whole place to myself, unsure if I was allowed to use the kitchen as it appeared to be a restaurant and a bar (but seemingly abandoned?). Bedroom was roomy and comfy.

The room was big, the kitchen was ok, the bathroom was big and comfortable and there were two bicycles that wark, and we used them a lot, it was fun.

The property is at a great location if you are cycling counterclockwise around Lake Biwa starting from Maibara Station. It was also quite affordable compared to other places in the area, and the staff were extremely kind and receptive to my questions when I called.

The rooms are definitely not luxury, so the comfort is decent. It is also not right by the lake, but that unfortunately can't be helped. It's a bit out of the way from most sightseeing spots, if you are just there for a simple rest between legs of a cycling trip (and don't expect extremely high quality) then it gets the job done.

The place does not have anything inside the room. The shared kitchen are very messy and no electric devices like microwave are working....

Didn't expect to be a hostel like and not hotel like facilities. Cannot find the location by google search by name. I think the owner should try to at least make a logo or name of the building outside of the block so that customer can see it at least.

Huge house in the middle of the countryside with lots of rooms. We came when it was mostly empty so it was quiet and the room was comfortable.

Bathroom space could have been cleaner.

The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. The futon was very comfortable and there’s a large tv. I really enjoyed biking around: this place is perfect if you want to experience the Japanese countryside! The beach is very close too, looking at the lake at night was really amazing. The toilets are comfortable and there’s also a large hot tub! The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, I totally recommend this stay!!
