Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JapanI stayed at 7th floor which it said for women only. However it was a guy came out from the shower room. So it made me a little bit uncomfortable. And i also rent a bath towel, because they don't provide it free. It's totally fine to pay 200 yen for a bath towel but i found the towel was not clean enough (it left some towel residue on my skin). No complain for the price but i think it will be better for them to improve at these parts. Had a great holiday in Okinawa! Thank you.
The location was great. In the middle of Kokusai-dori street and easy to access. The price was also great with the bed cleanliness and comfortness.

JapanMaybe some hair in the shower sometimes A little noisy from outside Kokusaidoori Main Street at night but if you keep the window closed it will be okay
I don’t have any photos to attach but overall it’s a really good place to stay! As a solo traveler, finally having a hostel with my own room to sleep in, is a dream haha It’s not a problem for me to take shower and go to the toilet on the floor, which are always clean Also if you’re woman, take the woman only floor, worth it 😁

JapanI didn't get slippers, but it was fine. It would be nicer to have your own toilet and shower, but there are more than enough toilets and shower rooms right outside the room. Only demerit is that you need to get dressed inside the shower room, because you need to walk through the hallway back to the room.
I just love the price value and the accesibility to the convention center nahart. The room is just a bed, but there is space for a suitcase below the bed and spots to put your phone down. I thought shared showers would be a problem, but they are just separate private rooms outside the hallway. You basically only share the hallway. I really like the concept for the price. Also relatively quiet and I slept very well.

United StatesIn terms of value, cospa is great as you get your own little room with a television. Hence, some privacy versus staying at a dormitory room with others. Cost is sometimes same as capsule dormitory price. It is not far from the prefectural office and Naha city hall if you need to go there.

United StatesIf the room given is facing the street side as well as rooftop party bars, you will hear the high bass volume of the music until past 2:00 a.m.
They call it "cabin" but they are actually very small rooms. There are many souvenir shops nearby as well as restaurants and bars.It is also close to Naha Art Center if going to an event there. Washing and drying machine on the same floor were very useful.

JapanIt would be nice to have a few more storage options like more hooks in the room. And definitely need aircon in the powder room.
The twin room was great as it had space under the platform for our bags. It had a few coat hangers and good facilities on the floor.

United KingdomThere is nothing much to write here, as I can't think of anything
I had a single cabin on a female only floor which was perfect for my 8 day stay. The whole place is spotless and cleaned daily. Two days before my flight home I made enquiries with the caretaker on reception about how to get to the airport, and he booked a taxi for 5.30am to take me to the airport on my last day. Overall very happy and will definitely return.

United KingdomBut the noise from outside was unbelievable until 2/3am. A loud restaurant blasts an ad all night and a karaoke bar until late. A tube from outside into the room meant this was blasted into my ear as I tried to sleep. Also it costs money to leave the bags on check out day for an hour or two.
The property has everything needed. Bathrooms, hair dryers and rooms. Staff kind with decent English.

United StatesThere is only one small shelf and luggage has to be stored on the floor. And if you need to get into your luggage, you have to either get down on the floor, or do it on the bed. It would be nice if there was a shelf for luggage.
The location is perfect. It's right next to Kokusai Dori. I like that, unlike capsule hotels, the rooms can be locked when the guest is out. Also, each room has its own air conditioner that can be controlled by the guest.
