It’s not too far from Toyama station, the host gave me two complimentary tickets for the tram, he was so kind and helpful, his service was outstanding, I highly recommend this property as it looks really Japanese style for a small price.

The location is a little bit far from city center, however the owner gave me free tickets to take bus.

Pure Japanese style house and decoration. Not so many rooms. Quiet and clean. I came early before check in time, but the owner welcomed me and gave me the suggestion about sightseeing.

The location wasn't exactly convenient, as public transit is slow here, but it wasn't bad either.

my host, though I never did catch his name was kind and attentive, but not intrusive. Facilities were perfectly fine, and a very good value.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Not far from Higashi-Iwase tram line. Beds are comfortable and private. Bike, toothbrush, and towel rental available.

It is a little far from the main station, so be aware that you might need time your outings with the tram schedule.

The host was really kind, he made conversation with me even though I speak little japanese and recommended a few spots around the area to visit. Both the house and the share rooms were more spacious than I expected, and I also got a couple of free tram tickets with my stay. Great experience.

The accommodation was cozy and walking distance away from the nearest city tram station. The owner was friendly and goes the extra mile to get to know his guests, and provide recommendations and suggestions accordingly. Being away from Toyama city center, one can get a glimpse of a quieter neighborhood, which is a big plus.

Restaurants and access to food did not seem overly prevalent

We were happy to be walking distance to the beach on a hot day. The location is very accessible by transit. We loved how quiet the area was. The neighbours were very friendly - we ended up watching fireworks with both the host and the neighbours. There was an unexpected festival we came across (Minato), and it was an excellent, friendly experience. The host was very communicative and helpful.

The host was very friendly and extremely accommodating. Had a great time staying here and checking out the beach. Room was very spacious and the place was very clean. Beds were super comfy! The host was great, would love to come back here again and see more of the area.

Cleanliness, traditional Japanese house

Adorable property with excellent staff! Upon arrival, we met some of the other guests in the common area sharing a meal. It felt like spending time with friends and family. It is a wholesome place to stay and a wonderful view into the hospitality that comes with the authentic Japanese countryside. The traditional rooms and futons were beautiful and comfortable. The parking was extremely convenient.

The specific times that we are able to use the living room. Paper thin walls where noise carry easily. Hard to stay there with a crying baby. Our sleep wasn’t comfortable to Western standards but it was nice to experience sleeping in a classic Japanese bed.

The host was very sweet and kind. He waited for us outside to ensure we found the property easily. He also provided us with free railway tickets (2 each for 2 of us!) I loved the baby toilet seat! Such a pleasant surprise as we lost ours during travel. The accommodation is affordable and close to the railway (6 min walk) Everything was very clean and well maintained The home is very traditional and gave us a glimpse of true Japanese culture
