It's a really cozy wooden attic style accommodation. The owner was nice and cooked a great meal. There's a really nice bathing facility as well

This might be a European habit but I would have liked it if there was air-freshening products in the onsen. The smell of hot water on wood was a bit intense, needed something to break it like a diffuser or incense
Beautiful ski lodge, the wood workshop made it even more charming. The room was clean and comfortable and simple but very cozy. They had everything you need and on top of that an onsen style bath. The host was very kind and generous and I left with a big smile! I wished I could stay longer!

Great accommodation in a lovely spot. The owner was so nice. He gave good advice and was a delight to talk with. He used translate to get around the language barrier. The food was delicious and there were lots of different dishes. The bath was very relaxing. All of this for a very small price. Highly recommend Urabandai Cranes

Everything. The location was rustic but everything seemed very new or renovated. The quasi-private onsen (shared between other people in the house) was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were also spacious with AC/heater, and a pretty comfy bed. The owner was also extremely friendly and prepared for us some amazing meals.

The owner made them himself. The toast wasnt just ordinary toast - im quite sure it’s brioche. The scramble eggs are not just eggs, but served with some corn in it. The lettuce is fresh af! Ordinary things that you can tell the owner puts in effort to make it a wonderful meal. I heard from other guest that the breakfast differs each day. Too bad I have got only one night to spend. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. You could tell he enjoys hosting guests (as well as woodwork, especially canoe), and he’s not trying to just “run a business”. I wish i spent more nights there.
