The futon was very thin (about 1.5 inch thick) and sank straight down to the floor when I laid on it, making it feel no different to laying directly on the floor. There were no extra futons around so we had to wait until the next day to ask for more, which the host did bring us. Having no host on sight makes solving problems difficult. I didn't realize there were security cameras throughout the house. We had to take pictures of our faces for check in and check out which felt intrusive. You can hear everyone in the house easily. The doors between rooms are a thin glass/plastic material. The people in the next room had a toddler and a baby so we all lost a lot of sleep which really impacted the next day. Only one bathroom which is shared which has in it the sink/shower/bath - this meant we had to wait about 45min to shower at night when another family was using it. Towels were an extra charge. Same for other amenities. No hand soap to wash hands. You can't even buy it from them. The walls seem like they were made with an insulation material, which flaked off like sand with a light tough. I ended up with a lot of it in my bed, like sleeping on sand. The room we had was very very small, even for Japan. Once the futons are laid out, there's no room for luggage bags. The luggage wheels of my carry-on size bag would touch the futon. I realize if I had waited to book, there are proper hotel rooms about a 10min drive further from the coast that were the same price I paid, and I wouldn't need to share a bathroom or sleep on the floor in a noisy house. I think if you're a family that will book the whole house and are used to sleeping directly on the floor this place would be fine, but it doesn't suit most other types of travelers.

Clean premise. Good parking once we found it.
