We didn't understand it from the booking but it's a full house rental. Amazing traditional Japanese house with a view on Mt.Fuji. There is a fully equipped kitchen. The owner was not present at check-in but replied to questions really quickly over messages.

Some parts of the house were a little less clean and dusty, but as it is a very big house and it was only the two of us for one night, it didn't bother us too much. As the check-in is completely self managed the house is covered in notes and instructions.

It is a 2-storeys traditional Japanese house and it is huge!! Love every corner of the house; the decoration, the design is very unique. This is our first experience staying in a traditional Japanese house, with futon beds, tatami floors and also with the real bamboo-paper walls. The living room, dining area, and kitchen is very spacious. The two bedrooms allocated for us (2 adults + 2 kids + 1 infant) were very comfortable, but we only used the room at downstairs. It is recommended for those coming to Fujiyoshida by car because the house's location is not public-transport friendly. Definitely will stay here again in future for our Fuji-san trip since the kids love this house so much!

There is no instruction on how to use the kitchen stove. I've messaged the property via Booking.com but never received a reply from them. But it is okay, we just used the microwave oven to prepare our simple meals.

My children love running around the house.

By driving-the roads are narrow. The musky smell when we checked in was a turned off. The corridors were too cold especially at night.

The house is. I’ve but the software is not that good.

More chairs in the kitchen. There is only one there. And the heater is not working in the room upstairs.

Nice view of Fuji Mountain Spacious house, bathroom, kitchen Parking space available The road was a bit narrow with a dangerous cornering but we went around to enter from the other end of the street which was more manageable Definitely recommend to my friends

If the room upstairs was air-conditioned, it would have been great to wake up to a view of Mount Fuji in summer. I only booked a night.

Very spacious traditional Japanese house, with kitchen, bathroom, spacious lounge. During the colder nights/mornings there were quite some heating options to keep us warm. Great distance from the pagoda and train station to the lakes.

No guesthouse (no staff, online check-in), difficult to figure out the japanese instructions (couldn’t figure out how to close the outdoor blinds so we had light in our bedrooms at 4am), house in a dark street (felt a bit isolated).

Lots of space, nice design, comfortable living area, very pretty house.

Appliances could have an English instruction guide as some were tough to figure out and use. Most candles need new batteries. Living room heater not working

affordable price, the entire apartment lovely 😍 slightly convenient walking distance to the train station and the family mart.

bathtub and 1 ceiling light at the 2nd floor not working. basement sealed up thus creepy in the kitchen. all the candles battery operated dead batteries no replacement battery provided. kitchen only 1 chair is provided. when during heavy rain, you will be very wet if no umbrella at all. the area starts to sunset early at about 6pm then it will be dark with few street lights surrounding.

The accommodation is japanese style, spacious, suitable for a family of four. My two children enjoyed the space and the futon beds. The living area was also comfy as there were several beam bags. The neighbourhood was quiet and nice, several highly recommended botique restuarants are just within walking distance. It is suitable for a group of young backpackers staying during a warmer season.

It was cold in the corridor and between functional areas. bathroom wasn't warm enough for a winter night, neither was the toilet. We did not use the bedroom upstaires because there was no heating system but only a heating fan, which we did not feel like using. The accommodation could have provided tea and coffee.
