Excellent location to visit the city center. Staff very kind. A traditional Japanese atmosphere. Room with a view on the park.

Nothing to point out.

An excellent spot to stay at if you are visiting the peace park as it is across the road from the Atomic Dome site. If you want to experience sleeping the way Japanese traditional sleep then this as the right accommodation for you. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were some nice restaurants within walking distance. There were spa baths available for use. We caught a tram from the train station. The tram stop was not far the accommodation.

Everything! The room is great and clean, staff were awesome! The location is right in front of the Atomic Bomb Dome!

Great traditional Japanese Hotel. Friendly english speaking staff. Were able to drop luggage off early prior to checkin and the bags were in our room when we did check in. Great view of the Atomic Dome from our window. Great location

Situation is perfect to visit Hiroshima historical side. Welcoming staff is very friendly.

The location is unique and the staff (family run) was super kind and helpful.

It was very disappointing, specially considering the price I’ve paid and other positive reviews. The room we were given was very worn out (and there is no “charm” with it). Room cleanup happened at a minimum, the bathroom and drains emanated a faint sewage smell, walls and furnitures were heavily scratched and the futons were incredibly thin and hard to sleep. After three nights there, I felt exhausted. As a traditional hotel, we are asked to take our shoes off, but then we had to walk over very dirty carpets. Also, the onsen is cozy but not very hot, and is lacking a cleanup against the mold. Finally, unfortunately the breakfast didn’t pleased us, with few ingredient options and rationed portions. I’m sorry for this review - I understand it’s a family run hotel and I wish all the best to the very kind staff there, but I don’t comprehend why the facilities are in that state, specially considering the premium prices being asked.

They need an urgent renovation. Tape on ripped carpet, mold in the onsen shower, terrible mattress and pillow.

It was truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a beautiful traditional Japanese atmosphere. We removed our shoes to walk on tatami, were served tea during check-in, and even received small origami gifts. Staff brought our luggage up to the room, and when we entered… wow! It was a spacious, beautifully decorated Japanese-style room with a stunning view of the Hiroshima Dome. The room had two baskets: one with tea and matcha-making items, and another with onsen accessories. The on-site restaurant is good, highly recommended. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner during check-in, a truly lovely lady. The tram stop is just two minutes away, making it easy to reach both the train station and Miyajima. And the Peace Memorial Dome is literally at the doorstep.

Good view to atomic dome was advertised, but one was able to see the top only.

It was right next to the atomic dome which was very convenient as we were able to see it multiple times throughout our stay very easily. Location is a 10! Staff were friendly and room had a great layout!

Hallways smelled a bit like cigarettes but the room was completely fine. That’s the only thing I could say - everything else was great! There’s no breakfast, but you’re right next to a shopping street so getting meals was super easy.

This hotel is in a great location. It is right next to the Peace Memorial Park and walking distance from the vibrant eating and drinking district. The staff are great and very helpful. We had a room with a direct view of the A-Bomb Building.

Only criticism is having booked a traditional Japanese room we found that the futon mattresses were very thin and sleeping was quite uncomfortable as a result as there was little protection from the hard floor. Western rooms are an option and one that I would choose if returning.

Amazing location. Traditional Japanese style hotel with spacious rooms. Affordable and right next to the peace park which was extremely convenient. Staff were helpful, in particular with storing our bags before check-in and after check-out.

Breakfast was good but (because of not being a buffet) not as varied as others we have had. Portions were smaller than we would have liked, although still enough to satiate us. Facilities looked a bit worn and dated, especially the bathroom. Many loud school children in summer holiday trips making noise right above us until quite late in the evening and starting quite early in the morning. These school groups also reserved the public baths between 7pm and 8:50pm which we had not been told about before we arrived, and this was disappointing.

Just in front of the atomic bomb dome, just a walk away from the museum. The Japanese style room is large and comfortable. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Great yukatas offered in the room, public bath available for guests and nice Japanese style breakfast.

Pillows were maybe traditional but probably a bit hard, futon could a bit a bit thicker.
