Amazing staff, really helpful and friendly. They gave us great recommendations and were just lovely and courteous. The location is excellent in Kamakura, within walking distance to the main attractions. The common area is really nice, and the facilities are clean.

This seems to be an old house turned to a hostel and the shower and toilet facilities aren’t updated to a proper hostel standard in my opinion, it is still okay but if you’re looking for something clean and comfortable to use then this might not be it.

Staff is great, very welcoming and friendly. Location was great and close to most things you’d need in town. A nice small seating area near the entrance and there is a small shop for fresh vegetables across the road

I like guesthouses but beds were not comfy. my bed made sounds whenever I moved and I could feel the metallic structure underneath when lying on the bed. Did use the second shower for which the door was broken, and the bathroom looks a bit old

staff super friendly and interesting to converse with. Pretty close to the beach which is nice to see the sunrise.

The door for the shower was broken, and there were no privacy curtains on the bed. The room also let in a lot of light/sound, also no lock on the bedroom door. It's an older location, but considering the price I think it's fair.

4 minute walk to Hase station and a 3 minute walk to the beach. Staff was really friendly and there was a small place to lock up important items (nothing for big luggage). Lounge area was spacious and the layout was good. Plenty of hot water/ good water pressure in the shower.

The dorms with old school bunkbeds with no curtains, no room for the luggages. There's hot water to use in the common room, but no tea offered. You have to pay to leave luggage after check out...

Very cozy place to stay. I was in the room with a single bunk bed and it was small but I don’t have much luggage so ok for me. Convenient to station and nice walk to temples and beach. Wish I’d booked more than 1 night.

Unfortunately the shower was broken while we were there, and after a couple of days we felt quite grubby. The hosts were.trying to find someone to fix it but had no luck during oir stay. Our room was very tiny & cluttered but probably fair for.what we paid.

Really lovely staff and atmosphere. There were opportunities to socialise or you could keep to yourself, good location - near the beach, train station & attractions.

For the dorms, imagine a one bedroom filled with 3 bunk beds. I had an upper bunk and the a/c was on my feet. There's hardly any space if the room is filled with 6 people. Like we had to take turns to pack stuff and get ready for check out. The 3 ladders are on each other's way. Also, there's no dedicated and locked luggage storage, except for the small one in the hall upstairs.

Location is superb and that's pretty much the only positive thing about this property if you'll be staying in a dorm. Very close to the station and the beach. Also a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Beds were a bit creaky. Bedtime for us was good, but keep in mind that if you want to go to bed earlier, it might be hard to fall asleep if people are interacting Downstairs. But they do have earplugs available.

Great staff, very nice and had good ideas on stuff to do. The common area was nice and some people just hung out there. They held our luggage for us before we checked in so we could explore.
