On Saturday evening, groups of youngster can be a bit noisy in the other rooms.

Nice guesthouse in traditional Japanese style. The owner is very courteous and helpful. It is located in a very quiet and friendly neighbourhood, but quite far from the city center and the park and castle. Very clean, both the room (spacious) and the shared toilets and showers. Little kitchen well furnished (including fridges).

Great experience I can't think of anything I would change.

Very kind host, he even allowed us to store our backpacks for the day while we were sightseeing. Also they have a wonderful washer/dryer that can be used without a fee. Lastly the location is very convenient. I would stay here again!

The bath was out of order during our stay

The communal Kitchen was clean and well supplied with basics. The hostel was an easy fifteen minute walk from the train station and the Genleman who welcomed us was helpful and kind.

Lovely, very helpful owner - he made our time in Okayama easy, and helped a lot with our trips on to Naoshima Island and to the Shimanami Kaido. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds comfy. The shower downstairs is great!

Everything was great! Besides our wonderful stay there, the owner had kept us updated about car parking, kitchen facilities and checking time before arrival, which made us relieved. The location is great, too, less than 10-minute walk straight to Okayama Station. Thank you so much!

Shower on the first floor and a bit cold but warms up quickly enough. Also it's a bit of a walk away from restaurants/amenities but not a big deal.

Kind, helpful owner. Well equipped kitchen. Cleanliness was excellent and the room is reasonably spacious and comfortable. There's even a Japanese-style bath on premises.

It’s an older property so the walls are very thin. When other people aren’t considerate of noise, it’s quite disturbing.

The staff member was so friendly, kind and helpful. Spoke good English too.

The walls are really thin. Whoever wakes up first in the place will wake up everyone. Ear plugs are provided but may not be enough if you sleep light. Not the most convenient location but the walk to the train station wasn't too bad.

The place is clean. Water is hot in the shower. It's relatively inexpensive. The room is comfortably large enough for the two of us. The manager is friendly and helpful. He is always available at the front desk.

I stayed one night as a layover between Himeji and Naoshima so not an issue for me but there aren’t many amenities in the area if staying longer.

Easy walk from station. Short walk to mall. Very clean and well kept for an old building. Great price for a private room. Super comfy bedding.

A big and nice tatami room for yourself at the cheaper price than a capsule elsewhere ! All the guesthouse is clean with a good mood from the owner or the man un charge. Thanks for is kindness~

Name/address not fully searchable on google maps. But easy to locate. Front door locked and 11pm curfew - key provided if you inform that staying out past this time. They prefer not to store luggage after check out.

Check in was easy and staff responded quickly to emails/questions prior to arrival. Able to communicate effectively despite my lack of Japanese language skills, able to speak reasonable amount of English. Luggage storage available prior to check in. Clean rooms and facilities. Kitchen available, but I did not use these.

Nothing really. I didn't find a water filter, but I loved this place.

The staff were super chill and very kind. The room was cute, little, and comfortable. The location is good--it's a reasonable walk from the train station. There is a washer that you can use (I didn't use it, but like that it is available). The shared bathrooms and showers were also good.
