Place to go if you want to experience japanese hospitality! Yukiko, the owner, is very welcoming, nice and super helpful. The house is very beautiful, you'll find japanese-style rooms with tatami floors and it is super clean. Yukiko also is a great cook, her meals are incredible, always fresh and prepared so nicely. Make sure to have dinner as well or you don't want to skip that!

Beautiful property and amazing hospitality! My host Yukiko went above and beyond to ensure I arrived at house. I was stuck on my cycling trip about 30km out from her house in the middle of an unexpected thunderstorm and she drove all the way to pick me up. I am forever grateful!!! Delicious dinner was then served and I enjoyed every single course!

This was our most rememberable stay during two months of traveling in Japan. Mitsuka is a lovely host. Her hospitality is outstanding, her Japanese breakfast is gorgeous, her house beautifully furnished and decorated, the room offered to guests is generous. We very much enjoyed being her guests.

A fantastic stay and a complete Japanese experience :) We loved everything: the hospitality, kindness and the extraordinary cuisine. We hiked in the area and visited waterfalls. Absolutely breathtaking nature, highly recommended!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at guesthouse Mitsuka. The host was very friendly and a great cook! If you stay at her guesthouse we recommend to eat there too. Its a treat. The food is refined, original, local and the best we have tasted in Japan.

The house is beautiful. Yukiko-san is lovely, kind, speaks excellent English and is a fantastic cook and host. Make sure you book dinner with her. It's fantastic! She made dinner reservations for us in the next town for our next day. We can't say enough good things about our stay here.

I just loved staying @Mitsuka guesthouse! Yukiko is a very helpful and attentive host. She made me feel at home and her cooking is absolutely high-class! Her sightseeing tips are on spot and she knows the local surf and dive shops. If you go to Shishikui, this is the place to stay at! I'm already missing it

We stayed here for two days while doing the Shikoku pilgrimage. Our hostess was so attentive to our needs. She was so helpful with information and transport to local activities and iced tea in the afternoon. Everything is clean and the house is tastefully decorated. There is a lounge space for guests to relax in as well as the spacious bedroom. Breakfast was delicious with great care taken in the preparation. Coffee was also provided. Highly recommended.

Yukiko is a very kind and helpful hostess, she had lots of recommendations as to what to do in the area and where to eat - all very great tips! She is an excellent cook herself, we had dinner at the house one night and the food was outstanding! She provides breakfast- western or japanese style! We also had a medical problem and she took us to the doctor and helped with translation! Truly a great hostess!
