The staff are fantastic. The communal kitchen allowed us to prepare our own food which is always nice. Hot tip: you need to buy charcoal for the BBQ, and you can get 300g packs at Daiso! Exactly enough for one meal and fits in your backpack.

It a very small detail, but I was expecting that because we rent the private room, that the towels for the shower would be include in the price of the room.

Very well located! Some of beaches accessible by walk and more by bicycle (which are free to borrow)! All the rooms have a sea view! The common area is very convenient if you want to cook yourself a meal or simply make coffee in the morning. Also, they kindly to accepted to keep our suitcases before and after checking-in and out.

The whole vibe of the hostel is so nice. The chill out area and the kitchen are very nice to hang out in, cook dinner and eat dinner, and there is also a nice terrace to have a bbq. Every room has a beautiful sea view and the dorms are big and spacious with comfortable beds. Yuki and his wife are so nice and are always present, and interested in what each guest are doing.

Very very friendly hosts. Very good recommendations. All you need for a stay is available. Kitchen and relaxing area is super equipped. You can rent bikes, snorkel equipment and even a tent for sun shade there for free. The view ist just wonderful and you feel welcomed. We definitely will come back

I wouldn’t say there is something that i didn’t like. I only stayed there fost 1 night & everything was fine, but in the shared dormitory there was only 1 shower for 6 people so i can imagine sometimes you can wait a bit in line.

The view & the story of the hosts. The shared space area is really beautiful. The fact that you could get a bicycle & go to the beach.

The staff was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Very close to a small beach and seawall walk, with larger beaches nearby. There were some good restaurants and bars in town, a ten or fifteen minute walk. Overall, a nice little spot in a cool harbour town.

I had no problem with it, but I would recommend older or disabled folks to think before booking because there are lots of hills and stairs as listed. However, the staff was wonderful when it came to moving our luggage up and down hills and stairs.

All the the staff and owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and spoke good English, as well as Japanese. They went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. There were many things available to rent to little to no cost and it was very helpful for our beach trip, most things for free. I rented one of the bikes and a snorkel both for free. I regret not staying longer, it was in a great location as well. They really did have "all you need". Great atmosphere. Family friendly and great for adults without kids too.

About a 25 min walk from the train station if you have heavy bags, but nothing we can change about that. If it was closer to town it would be less cool.

Ocean view, excellent hang out area, fully equipped kitchen, and personal local touristic advice for Izu if you ask. Couldn’t have asked for better. The owners must take pride in their work. Town is nice too and not over touristed. Rent a car and see the cliff hiking trail and seven waterfalls if you can.
