Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe location was behind the train station which served me so well for my few days there. Mi casa Su Casa was clean, well organized and enough. The owner spoke English well and was very kind. I’d stay there again.

United KingdomWe stayed in the dorm room of Mi Casa Su Casa. Our beds were comfortable but sometimes difficult to get in and out of as the room is very small. There is a fridge and kettle which was useful for us. The staff member was friendly and helpful, and check in was quick and smooth. The bathroom was clean, however since there is only one for the hostel, you might have to wait for the shower. Overall we thought it was good value for money, and a convenient location during our pilgrimage

NetherlandsThe place was a bit cramped. The first night I slept alone, but the 2nd night 2 other ppl slept in the dorm which made it quite cramped already (and then the room was half-booked. To imagine if it was fully booked!).
Welcomed by an amazing and helpful host I immediately felt home. The place has this hostel feeling, especially from the outside. I stayed a few nights, mainly because it was cheap and it was easy to visit the surrounding Shikoku 88 temples. It has a little kitchenette including a microwave to heat up food. The host also gave me thorough information about how to get to places, very kind and helpful!

SingaporeLocated right next to a train station and also very near to Konzoji, Temple 76 on the Shikoku Henro pilgrimage path, this is a compact and cozy space with a very nice, friendly, and helpful owner who is able to speak English.

AustraliaThe lady who runs the place is lovely and speaks English fairly well. I had a private room for two nights (I extended from one night). The folks that were there at the same time as me were younger than me but nice. On my second night, even though I had already got food from the combini (Daily Yamazaki) nearby, they shared a pizza with me as we all sat round the little table in the small communal area. The accommodation is right next to Konzōji Station, a small urban station on the Dosan line (very convenient). Two stops to the north connects to the main (Yosan) line along the north coast of Shikoku. The Dosan line also goes much further south to connect into Kochi prefecture. Mi Casa Su Casa is also about 400m from Konzōji temple of the Shikoku 88 temple pilgrimage. A sight worth seeing, even for non pilgrims.

United KingdomThe guesthouse is right by the train station which is super convenient, but it also means that you can hear the trains until about 11pm and they start early in the morning. For one night it was fine, but if you’re a light sleeper you may need earplugs.
The lady who runs the guesthouse is such a warm and welcoming person. She also has a great sense of humour and spoke English very well. The rooms were really clean, and everything ran very efficiently.

CanadaI had a good time there because I met nice people but to be honest this place is way too small for the number of people it hosts. There is just no space, it is barely functional and you always feel you need to move just to let people pass.

AustraliaBrushing my teeth at the kitchen sink ( left hand sink), no tissues, no lounge area - only 2 cushions and one small table for potentially 10 guests to dine and relax at. This place feels cluttered and very small . Outside is dusty and messy and you have to be ultra careful about bringing inside any of it. Not a relaxing environment after a long day. Check in at 4pm exactly.
The bed was comfortable and yes, it is close to the train. Basic amenities were fine.
