Great location, near the Ferry station. And the town itself has many interesting places to visit. Room was clean and comfortable. And the staff were very helpful - especially the young man on reception who helped arrange my luggage transfer. Especially as I had left it too late and interrupted him brushing his teeth!

Great location right on the Setouchi Inland Sea and near Setoda’s Shiomachi shopping street. Nice, modest place to rest for the night after a day of cycling.

Everything was fantastic. Spotless, modern and very comfortable. Self check in was superb easy. Great place to rest after cycling.

Cute little place, feels just like a traditional family home. Very nice staff that recommended a good restaurant to us. Bathrooms feel a bit old, otherwise everything looked nice and was clean. Everything necessary for staying the night was provided, so you didn't need to pack much for your cycling-tour. All in all perfect stop for splitting a 2-day tour on the shimanami kaido!

The only bad thing was that you can hear what is going on outside your room very well, so if you have someone travelling with kids there like we did, be prepared to be woken up early.

It is a simple, typical Japanese accommodation. The rooms are very clean, there is a nice lounge in the courtyard and a dining room. The staff is super friendly. The Japanese rooms with a view of the water are of course recommended.

We had breakfast with the hosts on one day but we did not know there would be no breakfast the next day.

Air conditioned futon bedroom. Nice well equipped lounge area with cold beers. Inside bike parking and lovely view of the harbour.

The stuff was very friendly speaking good English, the room we got is facing the water with big windows, good view. Very chilled island vibe.

Affordable mid trip stop if you’re doing the Shimanami Kaido.

It’s more of a self catering place we didn’t see the staff much. You could hear a bit of noise too from other guests from your room.

Beautiful house on the water. In a nice area with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Very delicious breakfast! All amenities provided. Good value for money. Very friendly staff ^^

This is the second time I've stayed at NEST. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely little communal area on the ground floor with some good reading material on the Shimanami Kaido, and breakfast is available. There are a number of good small restaurants within walking distance, but I suspect these may be seasonal and family run businesses, so they may not always be open.

The stairs here are probably a little steep for what I'm typically used to, but pretty standard in Japan. Not a huge deal, but they just require a little care.

Very friendly staff. It’s simple, but it was nice to have space in a room for a change and it was a great midpoint for our bike ride.

Staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was big and the bed was comfy even though it was a bunk bed.

Flies in the shared shower room - not ideal.

This is an excellent place to stay while cycling the Shimanami Kaido. The beds were comfortable, the whole place was extremely clean and they have everything you could need in the bathrooms (face wash, hair stuff and so on), so you don't need to bring any of that with you. The terraces are lovely places to chill out and the location is great - near restaurants and the port. The person who welcomed us was very friendly and spoke excellent English. Highly recommend!

A good half way stopover on the Shiminami Kaido bike ride.

Exceptional pride in their lodge, a cool common space and right on the water. Staff very kind and helpful!
