Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe passage ways were very hot. The hotel was a bit expensive compared to similar hotels, so I had expected it to be a bit better overall.
The location was great. Rooms clean and beds comfortable.

TaiwanThe room facilities could use some renewal, and the sunrise shines directly into the window.
The hotel is conveniently located near Matsue Station, just a 2–3 minute walk through the underpass to cross the road.

JapanThere are 2 Green Rich Hotels within 5 minutes walking distance of each other. I went to the wrong one first as it was a little confusing.
Friendly staff. The rooms are stylish and clean. Big public bath is nice. The hotel is right next to a convenience store and right across Matsue station. I love the massage chair in the room! This hotel also has plenty of electrical outlets to charge all your devices. There are 2 outlets by the bed, 4 outlets on the desk, and at least 6 other wall outlets! So you can have 12 devices charging at the same time.

Great location, good size room, nice shower and good atmosphere. Comfy bed and good blackout curtains, helpful staff too, especially when I asked to secure my luggage after leaving and not getting a train.

United StatesThe room has limited instructions in English for items like the AC/Heat controls. In English it says turn on the switch for the refrigerator but the switch is labeled in Japanese. Breakfast is way overpriced.
The hotel is located right across from Matsue North exit and very convenient. Recommend you take the underground walkway and exit at D. The hotel is right across the street. Rooms are larger than other business hotels.

AustraliaAlthough the room is a good size, a lot of the space is wasted as there is precious little shelving for storing clothes etc. the assumption was probably that most guests would only stay one night and therefore did not need to unpack. The coin laundry is by far the most expensive I have encountered in a month of travel in Japan. 500 yen to wash one load and 300 yen for the dryer for one use. Thus, a Total of 800 yen is the minimum spend. Rivals of this hotel charge a lot less.
Hotel is very modern and well located. The rooms are quite spacious. Breakfast is reasonable although nothing special.

SingaporeConveniently located and dinner is within walking distant for the two nights we stayed. We specifically looking for Japanese food and there are plenty of choices.
Conveniently located. Clean, generally clean and helpful staff. For foreigner like us who do not know Japanese, communication is through translation app. For the price we paid for 2 nights, value is average, nothing really stands out.

MalaysiaIt's an excellent location for families with kids, as it is located just right opposite the JR Matsue Station. There are restaurants, souvenir shops, 7-11 convenient shop and a small shopping mall attached to the train station, there's a cozy restaurant just right beside the hotel when the weather gets wet. The bed is comfortable, there's a mini fridge and kettle in the room. There are coin slot washing machines though the rate is slightly higher; There is an artificial hot spring too.
