The lower pods in the bunk room were very small (i am very tall so not an issue for everyone)

The kitchen was just so-so as one of the people taking care of the hostel constantly left a huge mess that made it difficult for anyone to use the kitchen. The hostel is beginning to get a bit rundown because people do not clean it very well--just the minimum.

The capsule type room was adequate and private. There are little fans you can use in you room to cool things off on humid days. The shared space in the room has air conditioning as well as the kitchen bathroom area and the bar area. The showers where excellent though not always providing towels. There is a terrace on the third floor that was nice to sit at on evenings and cooler days.

Very nice place in Korea town. Not close to the center of Osaka but the train station is about 10 min walk. A lot of stairs so not recommended if u have a lot of luggage or not in shape. They have a nice common balcony and a nice little cafe/bar.

Overall the hostel is clean but not up to Japanese standards. There is dust in the bathroom vents, air conditioning and lights. The shower doors have grime and dead bugs on the ceiling, and the sinks and toilets often smell of sewage. Also, their freezer is too warm - it's warmer than the fridge itself. I bought some frozen food but I had to throw it away. Plus for some reason the staff clean the showers in the evening, which seems impractical. On one occasion I was told I couldn't use the showers because they were still cleaning it at 6pm.

The room itself was above average for a one star hostel, it was comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and the location is excellent

The area for the luggage is like an open space for everyone, so that’s something that should be considered. Nonetheless, the property felt safe and staff were kind so I still felt comfortable leaving my stuff there.

The property felt very safe, there were locks, a small locker for your personal belongings, a curtain for privacy, had easy access to the subway stations and bus, fast wifi, shower essentials and heater, cafe and bar on the 1F is convenient as well. The hostel was also at the heart of korea town so there were a lot of korean cafes/ restaurants/ stores/ kpop merch around the property.

Although there were no issues at all with the bedding and sheets (very clean and neat), the little shelf at the end of my bed was dirty, someone left used contact lenses, the bed walls were also a bit dirty... I don't know about other dorms but mine was the mixed dorm on the last floor and I had one of the top beds. The roof is slanted in the room so the top bed do feel spacious (a lot of space in height) which is nice but the curtain only covers half of the bed entrance (height-wise) which meant all the light could come in, especially when someone turned on the bedroom lights. It did affect my sleep (although I figured a way to block out some of the light) but I still had decent stay overall.

Overall a modern minimal vibe with a cozy cafe/bar on the ground floor. Good showers, sink areas with hair dryers, towel rental. Equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer. The mattress was comfy, also had a small light and a plug. 5 min walk from a Family Mart convenience store and a few minutes walk from the Korea town area. Friendly young staff :)

sometimes a bit chilly in the dorm beside the terrace during the evenings, i recommend to bring a pair of warm socks, a neckwarmer and maybe an extra blanket to avoid catching a cold.

nice Hostel with friendly staff, the common room is a cafe, very cozy, it was very clean and the staff was very helpful (i reported a faulty hairdryer and it got replaced with a new one very quickly). i liked the neighbourhood, it is near Koreatown and the Metrostation is easily reached by foot.

I really enjoyed how accommodating the staff at the hostel were, as well the staff were very friendly and personable. The facilities were good, and the fact they have a clothes washer was amazing. The bottom bunks are the better option if you have the choice.

The staff was mainly international doing work and travel so it was easy meeting people. The beds were quite comfy and the cleanlyness was generally okey. Good wifi and good location.

It was quite hard to find arriving at night - would recommend arriving in the day. Smaller than other hostels I stayed in but basic facilities available.
