Great location for Kurashiki and fairly new development with only three apartments. Very spacious and good space. We had two apartments for four people and that is plenty of space. Location very close to restaurants and shops as well as train station. Both owner and receptionist were very helpful and helped organised a taxi pick up for us.

We loved the location, the room looks exactly as shown in booking.com very clean and comfortable, staff was very helpful, responsive and friendly. Everything was perfect.

The natural light, minimalist design and cute view of a private garden provided a serene environment for us to relax in after walking around in the heat all day. The staff at the hotel and restaurants in the complex are were all super lovely, greeting us warmly whenever we walked past. The hotel is conveniently located near nice restaurants, bars and the old town. Before our arrival I sent them a list of restaurants that I needed help with booking since I don't speak Japanese. They were more than happy to assist with this.

I’m so glad we added Kurashiki to our itinerary. The apartment was the nicest we stayed in during our 4 weeks in Japan and the location was great for exploring the historic quarter, whilst still only a short walk from the train station. Highly recommend!

The stairs are quite narrow for larger suitcases and could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues

Beautiful contemporary minimal property in enclosed courtyard, really hand for Bikan Historical Quarter and not far from the station . I also loved the balcony to have coffee in the morning when it was really quiet.

Everything was great! A few tips: they will send you a message asking for checking information like your passport info beforehand. It makes it easier to check you in and they send you a link to a secure site to enter your info. Also they will send you several messages with a link to their check in guide for you to read. There’s a lot of info in there and it sounds like they have a lot of rules to follow but generally all they care about is that you are respectful and mindful about taking care of the property and also being considerate to the neighbors etc. It is a thorough guide and very helpful so give it a read. It is a little tricky to get to the front gate but Google map is accurate and we had no trouble finding the gate. If you come by taxi they might not be able to take you all the way to the door so you may have to walk for a few minutes.

It’s right on the edge of the historic district and 2 min walking from the canal. It’s a little apartment in a very small courtyard area with a few little businesses like a sake bar and crepe cafe. Very cute! The person working at the travel desk in the courtyard is the one who will help you check in and settle in and was very lovely. The apartment has everything you need and is impeccably clean! The decor is super beautiful minimalist with a very modern bathroom and laundry! There is a very tidy kitchen as well.

The building was exceptionally well built and furnished. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Little tricky to find the property. Particularly recommend the bar located in the same building that has great selection of Sake to try.

I can't say anything could have been better.

The location was perfect Just on the edge of the samurai district, it was quiet, convenient and the staff was very helpful and kind. It is an interesting complex. At the moment they rent out three apartments which all face into a quiet public space. There are also small stores in this quiet complex selling beautiful products, a smoothie store, a sake bar and a travel agency that rented out bikes, arranged tours etc. Even with all of those businesses it was incredibly quiet and all the store owners were so kind and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here very much and highly recommend it.

This amazing place was so convenient to all the cute areas of Kurashiki. Mr. Mizuno was so kind to not only show us some of the amazing spots around town but he also walked with us to the station to make sure we didn't get lost. I have never met a kinder person in my life!

The laundry ‘room’ could do with a solid door on the washing machine as the cycles take a few hours and wake you if you run it through the night. There’s a sensor light in the corridor that you can’t turn off or down and is extremely sensitive.

Well located just around the corner from the historical area and the canal but the site itself is quiet. The kitchen is small but well equipped. There’s a great little sake bar as part of the complex and a crepe and smoothie bar. Both places were delicious with excellent service.

Suggest including a tea towel in the kitchen to dry dishes with. Moisturising lotion in the bathroom would be useful.

This was an excellent accommodation right in the historic district of Kurashiki and easy to go sightseeing, shopping and dining. It was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay.

There is no parking onsite so just make sure you plan ahead. There are lots local that only take cash.

The place was designed beautifully. The beds were comfortable, the tub was perfect, and the kitchen had just what we needed. The location was absolutely perfect! The location is within the old historical quarter, close to shops and restaurants.
