Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaHaving to pay for the pool dissapointed me a lot as I chose this hotel based on the fact that it had the infinity pool. Didnt understand why they charged an additional cost to use it per day.
Staff were very friendly and provided a lot of insight when needed. Breakfast was also very good too.

HungaryThe rooms that are not facing the street but the backyard have their windows tainted, so there is no view 🫤 but this is what we’ve experienced in all Japanese hotels. You need to pay separately for using the pool, that is rather strange… but we knew it in advance. The non-asian breakfast option is dull and very limited. Plus you need to register for a designated breakfast slot in advance and it is limited… pretty complicated way to manage the process in my view. All in all not bad but definitely far from a 5* experience.
Good location, next to Kokusai dori main shopping street. Close to the airport, and ferry terminal, as well. Good asian breakfast, but the European selection was rather dull and limited…

AustraliaPool and rooftop bar were great but not big enough for the amount of guests in peak time. Same with the breakfast restaurant, great selection of food, but again really busy and long waits in peak times
Location was great, close to the Main Street, port and few main attractions. The reception staff were helpful and prompt.

AustriaWe liked everything really. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast which runs until 10:30, but from 10 onwards staff were already pressuring us to finish, and at 10:31 you are asked directly to leave even if you're still having a coffee. That made the breakfast experience quite stressful. It would be a lot nicer if the breakfast food closed at 10:30, but customers could still finish their breakfast at their table while staff start cleaning up. At least that's what I am used to from other hotels. Otherwise, everything was very nice. It's annoying to have to pay for the pool, but we knew about this before coming.
Great location, we loved the little izakaya alleyways next to the hotel and the proximity to the monorail and gokusaidori. Rooms were extremely comfortable, bedding great, pool with a lovely view. We had an issue with our first room and they solved the situation promptly and professionally. Spacious rooms. Staff were very attentive.

AustraliaThe pillows, I just can't get used to them.
The staff were great, great facilities and the the breakfast menu had everything we needed. The location was right in the middle of International street and Old Naha. We were told by the front desk to go to Old Naha for Okinawan hospitality and they were right. Had a great night out.

Hong KongThe dining area seating was somewhat crowded and lacked dimensionality. If they did, the capacity would need reducing which was why they couldn’t do it. One morning, the cleaning staff came in without knocking. We didn’t put out the do not clean sign but a notice should be required
Extremely quiet. My wife said she’s never stayed in a quieter hotel. Breakfast provisions were abundant and tasty

TaiwanThe parking fee a bit higher than others around, and during the peak hours, waiting to pick up your car could be up to 20-30 minutes. They don't do room cleaning, but only pick up trash and change towels which is fine. However, it's better to refill all of amenities while already got into the room than we have to ask the front desk to pickup ourselves.
The breakfast offers "make your own burger" which is very nice, fun, and delicious. However, it's obviously seeing the hotel is short of staff especially during rush/peak hours for breakfast. However, most of staff especially people works in the front desk are really friendly and helpful. The location of hotel is also great while exploring Naha. Lots of shops, restaurants around. Would recommand!!

PolandI was travelling with my family and small kids. We had two rooms. We arrived in the morning and left our bags until 3pm (check-in time) I explicitly asked to give us rooms close to each other as we have small kids and common suitcases. When we arrived at 6 pm we got rooms on the opposite sides of the floor. They said there are no rooms available close to each other. However, after some arguments they gave us 2 rooms on another floor next two each other. The problem was finally solved but I spent 45 mins at the reception trying to explain my point.
Clean hotel, nice roof pool. Good value for money.
