The only downside is that the soundproofing isn’t great. Overall, it’s a solid option for the price!

The hotel is in a great location, close to Kawaguchiko Station, which makes it very easy to get around. It’s well-equipped with shared bathrooms and showers, as well as a microwave, fridge, and electric kettle, so you can easily heat up some food. The room is small but very clean, which is a big plus.

Room is too small for 3 people. Room # 2. No heater inside the lobby. Sink no hot water. Not a good idea to stay during autumn and winter season.

The walls were paper thin so I could hear my neighbour snoring. The beds were not very comfortable and the blinds were too small for the window and so let a lot of light in during the morning.

Very nice location ! But if you want a quiet place, it’s not here wall are not well sound isolated, you feel all customers in the same room during the evening and morning, same with external noise. Facilities was nice if you are looking just for 1 or 2 night to be near the bus station, to go climb the Mount Fuji.

Beds were uncomfortable and linen didn’t fit the duvet properly. No staff to check you in, self check in via an ipad. Took longer to complete this way as it kept resetting and it was in Japanese. Took a few attempts to understand process and switch to English. Would of preferred to speak to a member of staff

Location was great as it was within a walking distance from the bus station. Room was clean and tidy. If for a short stay it’s fine.

We arrived after hours, and I found the check-in process a bit annoying. No staff member was present, so we had to enter all our details on the tablet that kept freezing; I had to restart the process multiple times, and it frustrated me a bit. In the end, I managed with the help of another guest.

Samurise was a pleasant surprise. The facility is basic but comfortable and fair for the price. The facility is located behind Kawaguchiko Station and has free parking for those wishing to drive. It is also within walking distance from the famous Lawson Kawaguchiko Station. Beware that walls are thin, and you will hear everything that other guests get up to. The room had AC which kept us fresh during the night. The bunk bed was okay although the mattresses were a bit uncomfortable for us (personal experience). Toilet and showers are shared, sadly other guests may be messy at times. The staff left a personalised note on our desk upon check-in and I found it a very kind gesture reflecting Japanese hospitality.

We booked a room for 3 but arrived and it was just one bunk bed. We had to request another bed which was a mattress they put on the floor. The room was uncomfortably cold as there was poor insulation. The heater was near one bed, but wasn't powerful enough to heat the room.

It was close the the train station. The rooms were a good size.

Noisy due to the room is close to the main door and the wood floor. No mirror inside the room Narrow room space and the upstairs bed might injured by hitting the heater/air conditioning. No prompt helping you due to the selfed and automatic check in process, including answering the other problems.
