Close to the train stations, nice restaurants. The inside was very clean, and the ac worked fast and good. In the akatsuki room where we stayed, the bed was very comfortable and there was enough space for both of us to relax. The staff was very kind, the owner spoke english well which was helpful. We felt safe and secure the whole time. The area was very quiet and in the guesthouse as well.

There wasn't much too dislike. The showers were small but easy to use, and in the summer the restrooms are very hot.

Residential neighbourhood just 8 min walk from train station. Nice host who recommended a nearby Okinawan restaurant, which was good. Extra positive to get 2 big fluffy towels, and that the AC had a quiet sleep modus (once I figured out how that works with a translation app).

Kitchen needs more frequent checking, since other guests leave food in the fridge or leave the kitchen towels dirty.

Very nice and cozy hostel with a traditional Japanese aesthetic (big plus! it has character!). Facilities, including kitchen, were clean. Room was comfortable. Neighbourhood was also very comfortable and safe, not far from the train station. Staff was so friendly and nice, thank you!

The stairs were very narrow so it was a bit hard to get my big suitcase up and down them, but it is definitely doable.

I am sorry but the room didnt meet the expectations. I found no sheets, the futon wasnt ready to use. Since no one was in the house, and no one replied to my requests, i had to look for sheets in the closet and luckily i found them. The smell in the room (sakura) was not so good and so was the one on the sheets. The door couldnt be closed and locked…… i think you can improve your service. The toilet and the house itself was clean.

Loved that there was a couple bikes we could use to go for a ride around the town and there was some really cool wee local shops selling produce. Biggest thing we loved was having a kitchen and being able to cool our own food and try some of the local products! Would recommend this place to anyone.

Was a wee way from the city if you wanted to go and explore places but nice to be away from the city if you’ve been in the busy parts. The bed mattress was a little hard for my partner but I didn’t mind it.

The hostel Hana An is really confortable, clean and really beautiful. We loved staying here, highly recommend!

Home atmosphere! I have enjoyed, I will visit this place again.

Very cozy and staff was super friendly and kept the place very clean.

Only downside was the thin walls and hearing the room next door but it wasn’t a big deal

The whole atmosphere is very Japanese & comfortable! Towel & shampoo are also provided! The walls are thin & it’s a little walk from 2 train stations but if anyone enjoy a nice neighbourhood walk, this is the place! Will be back if I visit Tokyo again >< ✨

quite local place. next to nice coffee shop, beautiful flower shop and delicious rice cookie shop. the room was very spcious and beautiful traditional japanese floor tadami. when i will travel japan again want to stay here again. recomend!

Modest, traditional house in an uncrowded neighbourhood.

Only one key to the main door which locks up at midnight. If you stay up late you'll need to use the lockbox to access it, which has had the key missing from time to time (as other guests haven't returned it). Best to talk to host if you have any concerns.

We loved the location and the discreet building. Also how clean the bathrooms were.

No heat in the common areas, kitchen was extremely tight and bathroom sink was in the hallway, not in a private room. Lastly, the walls were so thin so we need to be very quiet so a not to disturb other guests.

The area around guest house is calm and quiet and our stay was homely. The owner/staff were really welcoming and friendly.

Comfortable guesthouse in quiet suburban neighborhood.

It's quite far from the center (~50 min by train), though, so bear that in mind.

The guest house feel so comfortable and relaxing. You can feel like you already in your own place.

You can really hear the sounds when someone walks in or something from the next door or upstairs.

The place was very hospitable, my partner was hesitant about the hostel having a common bathroom, but everything was so clean! The bathroom was great, with nice and pleasant soaps (body, hair & conditioner), the water was so warm, and the towel felt so fresh and clean! The bed and sheets felt so homie and clean! The room and bathroom were sparkling clean, the window to the garden from our room felt very inviting, I felt like I was living in an actual home in Tokyo (which is exactly that!). The neighbourhood is very quiet at night, I actually recommend sleeping with the window open, and having a sense of this amazing silence. We chose this location because it was on our way to Tokyo, while it's not in the city center, that's actually one of the place advantages! The neighbourhood it resides in seems very liveable, away from the hustle & bustle of the main city. Walking the streets was very pleasant, there is a fantastic izakaya just up (north) the street, which we also enjoyed very much. Thank you for our stay!
