The breakfast was good, but it costs an extra ¥500 per person per day, not included.

Mostly everything! PLEASE READ: This property looks perfect on Booking.com, however it’s not even close! Coming from a budget traveler myself, this is one of the absolute worst places I’ve stayed! The staff was nice for the most part, but the hotel itself was EXTREMELY OLD AND RUNDOWN, whoever edited those pictures needs a raise! That or they’re 50 years old! Most importantly, it says it has air condition, NO IT DOES NOT! We asked upon entering our room because it was HOT (beginning of April too!) and we were told that the hotel has AC that’s controlled by them centrally and that the heat is currently on. We “could open the window”. Yeah, the window that I kid you not was 2.5 feet away from FIVE other room’s windows AND had a sign that said not to open it because they’red breaking and the hotel will charge you! Room was extremely outdated, WiFi did not work, and we had a non-smoking room, yet the ENTIRE place reeked of smoke and had an ash tray in our room and a full ash tray sitting outside it Nextdoor. Not to mention it’s not close to anything and not walking distance to the station. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!

It was spooky. The tapestry was flaking off the wall. Red unknown spots on the other wall. Only one of my three lights was working.

The staff are very approachable and it’s only 10 mins walk to hondori. The room is clean and it has all the amenities you needed. We really enjoyed our stay. 😌

Clean, not shabby but not new. Good for the price

A little shabby. A little distant from the Main Street and trolley line.

The staff was very friendly and happy to help. My single room had a nice amount of space with a table that could be moved about, making it easy to reorganize my luggage. The hotel is close to a bus line that heads straight to the station, or you can walk if you're feeling energetic. It's also within walking distance of several attractions, such as the Peace Memorial Park. I hardly ever saw anyone else in the shared toilet while I was using it and the shared bath was very nice after a day of running around town. Both facilities were kept clean, though the bath water could get a little dirty on extra busy days. There's also a private shower available on each floor if you don't want to use the shared bath or if you get back to your room too late for the bath to be open. Plenty of good food to eat in the area and a coin laundry just around the corner. I would definitely recommend this place to a solo traveler on a budget.

I had an extra cheap room across from the elevators and could hear people while they were waiting to ride. The plumbing for the shower on the floor above also ran through my room, so I could hear flowing water whenever the shower was in use. However, earplugs were readily available to grab whenever I might need any, so it didn't really bother me while I was sleeping and it felt worth it for the price.
